oh my god. it’s a story about undeath. about the dichotomy of life and death and the disgusting gore in between the two. it’s the swarm. it’s the rotting carcass. the grand immortal dictator. the black parade is dead versus long live the black parade. the imperfect resurrection of gerard, that leaves scars and bruises and a pale bloodless face and an inability to eat. what happens when you refuse to let something die. what happens when a corporation revives something that should’ve stayed dead in order to squeeze another drop of profit from it. another drop of blood but it will never be enough. look at this facsimile of life your heroes have become, corpses that they puppet and parade, and the shallow will clap their hands and cheer but those who see understand the horror of the scene before them. but remember your place—you’ve seen nothing.
