Wabutt - Double Walled Basket

So without further ado, here’s some of what I’ve gotten so far.

My kiddos warned(?) me Puyallup was conservative. The bartender at Power House, Ashley, was loud and when I asked her about other venues in town she mentioned The Forum and said it was pretty Libby. I leaned in, grinned and said I’m pretty Libby.

Two old farts, Brian & Gary were hogging the tiny bar at Fireminds. A dumb as fuck name for a brewery in my estimation but my kiddo suggested it. Brian had to move his feet off the chair so I could sit. I thanked him for saving it for me. Gary was a Samuel Clemons look alike who kept checking his cherry red TR7 was unmolested.

The beer here was forgettable.

Crockett’s was a Drive-in diners and dives location - a Guy Fieri featured restaurant from his show. It had fabulous calamari but the meatball they served me (on the show) was boring as borscht - I imagine never having had the soup made from beets.

Puyallup was a mixed bag for me tbh.

The oysters at Bourbon St were exceptional and the bartender made me a credible Vieux Carré even though he’d not heard of it. Brings to question the authenticity of a place claiming Nawlins roots.
