I know, it goes against the expectation that Alex would stay away from MI6 if given a chance, or that they are the bad guys (which they were for the first two seasons before doing a 180 in season 3). But I would love to see Alex Rider, student spy, who is respected, supported and paid for his services while loving what he does, at least in principle if not at every moment. Non-depressed, cocky, competent Alex dealing with baddies with a quip on his lips - who would not like to watch that for, oh, maybe 5 seasons or so until he's done with uni?
