I can’t think about that scene where Armand thinks Louis is taking his photo but he’s actually trying to capture Dreamstat for too long or I’ll burst into flames. I saw the gifset earlier and it is so utterly devastating.

And then we have the implication that Louis is telling Daniel about it as part of the interview which is why we’re seeing it and Armand is right there to hear it. I’m going to tear my hair out.

I always found it super compelling and emotionally interesting that Louis accidentally captures Armand's vulnerability and a core truth about him when Louis isn't even trying because he's too focused on a idealized version of Lestat that isn't real and is essentially just an extension of his own mind/guilt/longing.

And Louis doesn't realize what he captured of Armand until a complete stranger who doesn't even know Armand tells him about it. Armand's soul is visible to even this random stranger but is invisible to Louis. Meanwhile this invisible Lestat can't be seen by anyone else but it is all Louis can see.

Just really rich and poetic writing in S2.
