I try not to think about those other children burned with your trauma, bothered every day by your parts. Prayer doesn’t work with facts. If I saw you now I would’ve dissected your body, torched the parts on the doors of your family. I will spit on your grave.

I am more your Mother than your mothers were. For I am also their Mother. I am the Mother before all mothers, the dark to whom all men return.
