I’ve recently found myself on several occasions falling down a rabbit hole of lost civilisations — the lost city of Babylon; the Mayan civilisation; Rapa Nui of Easter Island; the Anasazi civilisation — how mind spinning that these civilisations disappeared and the knowledge they’d discovered that was lost with them. The residents of Babylon held knowledge of the cosmos over 1000 years ago that we don’t even have to this day. Fascinating.

What brought you to that rabbit hole exactly? 

Well, Gradian is definitely a change of scenery. Missing the simple beach life already. Also what is it with this weather? Is it always this cold?

Cold? No, no. It's actually perfect out. I wish it was like this all the time. Now, January is fucking cold. No thanks.

It’s honestly a little entertaining seeing the Marks & Spencers shelves lined with reductions on February 15th. For a country supposedly committed to reducing food waste, you’d think they’d have learned to order in moderation by now. 

Okay so, terrible, obviously, but I will buy up every bit of that discount. 

So in an unsurprising turn of events a LOT of people wanted to come and gimme a smooch last week? Honestly, not shocked, i’d pay a lot of money to kiss myself if I could. I love and appreciate myself, just like everyone else does.

It is a treat to kiss a cutie and help your community at the same time.

Well, the Charity Week was nothing short of a huge success. A lot of money raised for many recipients — i’m thinking of maybe even making it an annual or bi-yearly event. You can never give too much to the community, after all.

Count me in! Gourmet on Wheels was seriously so much fun. 

I have just discovered the world of Gü desserts, and now i’m going to have to overhaul my work-out schedule because I am OBSESSED. FUN FACT: New York cheesecake is different to normal cheesecake because it’s denser. I have just learned this information. Thanks Google.

Oooooh, I actually quite like that brand. I will admit, I have tried to recreate some of their things. Desserts are not my specialty, that is for sure.

Why do children like to take it upon themselves to “redecorate”?? Like honey, I appreciate you, I admire and live for your many talents, but Interior Design called, and they weren’t asking for you.

Oh, honey, no. I am so looking forward to the day that my newly discovered niece decides she wants to start redecorating things. I will be at my brother’s house ready to knock down walls on the weekly.
