I don't rent but my friends that do pay between 1200-1800 for a 1 bedroom in a nice area or a 2 bedroom in a shitty area. A studio can be as low as 600 in some places though

I live in Portland, and I pay $1100 per month for a very small 1 bedroom apartment. I live in what is considered the ‘bad’ part of town, but that mostly just means the part of town with no Whole Foods, and all the restaurants are owned by people of color and not white assholes who were ~inspired by their travels to bring the authentic flavors home to Portland~ ooooh. I don’t have to pay pet rent or parking, but the trade off is management never fixes anything, so hope you don’t mind leaky pipes and a sagging closet door!

My place was a 3 bed 2 bath on an island for $850/mo.

My old club allowed both. As a GFE escort and a stripper, having nipple piercings still was a bad choice for me. I took them out a few years ago.

ugh it’s not about clubs allowing it or not, it’s that we are expected to maintain the image we had at hiring. that’s literally in my contract. even my club has a few alternative dancers but if we all showed up one day fully tatted up or with half shaved heads and blue hair my management would definitely be pissed.

My mom had me at 30, my mom had my brother at 26. I feel like after 36 it gets dicey, so if you do it before then you’ll be okay probably. 

I think the 30s are a good time to have kids so is 40 I’ve heard of a lot of woman have babies at 40 now.

Forty is way too old imho. Like, the risk of down’s syndrome and other disorders go up exponentially after 35.

There’s a risk whenever u have a kid in general. Besides it’s all how your body is if your taking great care of your body in your 40s the baby should be fine

I didn’t know it was so severe, but I’m saying some woman do like to wait for career and family reasons.

I remember reading a few articles last year about how it’s true that risks of disabilities and/or hormone issues increase as you get older, but that the increase is a really low percentage. So really it’s not a huge deal and everything we’ve been taught about having babies early is a lie. I’ll dig around and see if I can find my sources.
