November is diabetes awareness month but for me diabetes awareness is for me every month and everyday. Diabetes really isn't a easy illness and it has overtaken my life for the past year and a half. I am only just getting the right medication, but I am lucky to of had it discovered when I did. So to raise the awareness, go get tested if you are always thirsty, urinating a lot or forever sleepy and in general just lethargic! I am really trying to be positive going forward and trying to not allow it to control my life and I am so grateful for those around me who support me daily.
