Side view I know I have said it before, but I love that since getting back into TS2 that there are many more dread styles like this one. This uses a TS4 dread texture though. This is @platinumaspiration’s 4t2 conversion of @birksche’s “Great Dread Knot”. Polycount: 4k

@bayoubashsims​ asked me how I made the stream in my recreation of Magic Town in TS2, and I said I would write a tutorial. I’m not very good at writing them but I tried. Let me know if I missed anything.

Heart Tattoo Overlays!

It’s been a while huh? But I have an excuse, this one has new features! (details below)

But first, the 10 tattoo designs are mostly from Freepik, free vector sites, and I got two designs from Sims 4. They’re all unisex. I also implemented some shortcuts on the tattoo files, so now the teens use the same resources as adults, which means smaller filesize, easier to make, so it’s a win all around! I also slaved some of them to themselves, when the m and f images were exactly the same.

Now, about the new features!

So, this box doesn’t look like a crate anymore. It looks like the Civic Idol poster from the base game, and it takes all the recolors from it. I included one lonely recolor to go with these tattoos. That’s not all! Now if you click on the box, there’s a new option, Change Model, which lets you cycle through a couple models (like Pikkon’s 3t2 tattoo gun and a few ink bottles I extracted form sims 3). I know I overthought this, but I like variety, okay? XD And this is still not all, because I also tooltipped it up, so if you hover the cursor over the object in live mode it’ll tell you which tattoo box it is! (so when I make a thousand tattoo boxes and they all look like ink bottles on a tattoo parlor lot, you don’t have to click through all of them).

Important! The extra model resources for the tatoo gun and the ink bottles are in a separate file, called DeeDee-TattooObjectResources. I decided to make them separate so I won’t make duplicates in the upcoming tattoo boxes. I’m going to include it with all of them in the future, but you really only need to have this file once, so I recommend putting it somewhere where it doesn’t get deleted. If you don’t have this file and you click on Change Model, the box will disappear into the void.

How to use: I’m going to write down the usual manual, so I can link back to this whole wall of text later: you can find the object in the misc/misc category, now looking like the Civic Idol poster. If you put it down and click on it, there will be options to add and remove tattoos. You can add as many tattoos to a sim as you wish (but obviously, they’ll look odd if you choose ones that overlap each other), they work from teens to elders, and they should stick to the sim’s skin until they die (if you don’t remove them of course). After applying, you can delete the object from the lot. Or you can turn it to a nice ink bottle :D

I think that’s it! Sorry for the wall of text but it was important XD Also, any fellow tattoo box creators: feel free to use these new resources as a base for your own work! I’d love to see more boxes with this change model feature! (because I really want to make a tattoo parlor) Although, I’m not sure if I will update my previous boxes, but I’m going to use this method in my upcoming ones!

Floral Tattoo Overlays

A collab! With @episims! Who was willing to help me out with making some cool overlays! We made 11 floral tattoo overlays (they’re all unisex of course). And now anyone who wanted to get Bonnie’s floral sleeve, here it is :P

As usual, a recolor of the Civic Idol poster and the tattoo resources file is included (you can delete the latter if you already have it), and if you don’t know how to use these tattoo “boxes”, click here! :)

My legacy chapter has finally been finished & posted, so as promised, here is the private school set that is the most requested thing I have ever made. Hope it lives up to everyone’s expectations, haha.

It is built on a residential lot, as I intended to use it solely as a set, and I don’t need random townies wandering into my pictures. Features a bit of clutter, so that it doesn’t look totally empty, and a shit ton of invisible lights because it’s much too dark inside otherwise.

The set contains 2 bathrooms, a small office, a general classroom, and a science classroom. Plus, a ton of wide hallways for your sims to converse/loiter/perform musical numbers in, because we all know that high school students spend 95% of their time at school in the hallways, right? ;) There’s also two boxed-in rooms near the bathrooms for hiding poseboxes and such. Floor plan pictures can be found here and here.

A matching gym can be found here, and a library is here. A cafeteria, and an arts/music/theatre building will probably be built in the future. Do not send me asks about when these are coming. I appreciate the interest, really, but honestly it just makes me feel like people only care about one lot, out of all the content I post on this blog.

Remember these accessory stockings by @itsdiamondeyesuniverse​​? They’re finally done! The mesh is basically Maxis naked legs, resized a little to cover up original legs. We’ve made a hundred (a hundred!!!) recolours, including socks, tights/pantyhose, and leggings. They won’t appear in CAS, and have to be applied through a box instead. These boxes work just like tattoo boxes, you can add and remove stockings with them, and the boxes themselves are stockings’ mannequins located in the dressers category for 45$.

Stockings are everyday only, have no morphs (couldn’t be done, sorry about that!), and will work only with higher-than-ankle shoes (leggins will work with lower shoes though!). They are organized in nine boxes. All nine boxes (with swatches!) and acc stockings mesh can be downloaded here: SFS folder / MF folder. Please be sure to download the mesh! It’s the same one for all stockings boxes. A Body Shop template is also included, just in case you want to make your own recolours (a tutorial on how to do this will soon follow!).

Swatches are in order, representing the stockings packages from left to right. You can dump the ones you don’t want but removing the options to add and remove them from the box requires SimPE editing. Since young adult and adult share resources, young adults will keep any stockings they’re wearing when growing up into adults, so you probably would like to remove the stockings before transition (sorry about that too!). This won’t happen with teen to young adult/adult transition.

YPlum’s bottom-only io’s Lola Dress with Shatarja boots for AF and made stockings-friendly

Just a leg-swap of this dress (aka my favouirte TF dress ever) by @yandereplumsim so it now uses Maxis naked legs, done by @itsdiamondeyesuniverse of course :D

Let the mesh overwrite the old one. YPlum included in her post the three original recolours by @serabiet and one recolour from this set by @mrs-mquve-cc. I love all the recolours of said set, so I’ve included eight extra recolours. Since the original version is TF, AF files are repositoried to TF, which means you’ll need YPlum’s files. Boots in all dresses are texture repositoried to the file named YPlum_TFIoLolaBottomOnly_Black.

DeeDee’s shoe-swap with Acne Clover boots made stockings-friendly

Again, a leg-swap of this dress made by @itsdiamondeyesuniverse. DeeDee’s version is in the same four colours that YPlum’s, which means that I’ve included the same eight extra recolours (I couldn’t help it). In this case, TF files are repositoried to AF, and boots are repositoried to the file named DeeDee-YPlum-IoLolaBottomOnly-AF_Black.

Hi everybody!

Look at me here! I just wanted to say that my disappearance has a name: I’m studying a LOT. But I managed to bring one more color today and I hope you like it. I particularly love the Harlem’s curtains, so I decided to bring the basic colors so that we can have more options when it comes to decorating.

And the coolest thing about this harlem collection is that we have several curtain options.

I've had Marioneve's conversion of DaraSims's laundry stuff in my downloads for a long time but never used the clotheslines - because there were 3 different meshes and their recolors.

What we have here is a mashup of those 3 meshes. Whether you have linens, clothes or nothing at all (or just the clothespins!) depends on the textures. This DOES mean that the mesh is 3918 polys.. BUT that's over 3 tiles and you would've had 3 meshes adding up to a bit more than that with the original meshes!

I had to remake the original recolors so if there are any existing recolors by other creators they will not work with this mesh as it's been mashupped and remapped. The recolors are the original 5 for the linens, the original 2 for the clothes, 3 more clothes recolors, 5 recolors of the wood AND 3 invisible recolors - 2 with different clothespins and one with nothing on the line at all.

I reused Marioneve's original GUID for clothesline1 so it's this mesh or her three. This version can be found in Plumbing>Misc for 100 Simoleons. Visible from neighborhood view and can be used with the quartertile cheat. ALL recolors are separate files and can be deleted in game with no problem if there are any you don't want.
