Welcome to my Simblr! Here are a few things you may want to know about me:

I'm frequenly on hiatus due to lack of free time (I'm not gone or ignoring you).

You can ask me to follow you back if you want to chat (only sims chat please!).

I will always block blogs with no title, icon, header or description (it's your job to look like a real person).

Respect the original creators. I use textures and meshes by others, so check who deserves credit for the stuff you're using. Don't credit me for the stockings/freckles/birthmark textures, I didn't make them!

You can edit my content however you like, but keep it free. You can reupload my content if it becomes unavailable for any reason, but again: no paywalls/adwalls!

Help Wanted

Hi all! So I'm looking for a couple of things :)

First and foremost, I'm looking for 1-3 play testers for a toddler default set I completed. I'm notorious for TERRIBLE play testing and this will help me be able to move forward into other ages.

If you are down, please let me know and I'll send you the link. This default set includes brand new outfits + access to a spreadsheet so you know which is which and you can leave me notes on any fixes. I'm also open to changing outfits for the defaults (though I'd prefer not to convert more outfits, I can if it makes sense lol). I'm really looking for bugs or wonky joints.

Second, and this is a big ask, I'm asking for long term help with the @sims2tutorials page. I've been doing it by myself for a long while and it's very much not up-to-date and messy, predominantly with me going on a semi-hiatus for a while. If you're not able to assist long term, sending in tutorials is always helpful <3

Literally every default face template set on earth that I've ever seen be like: what if every single sim looked the exact same as each other. and also they're all white

Isbrealiomcaife's All Around the World face templates have been around for over 20 years. 8 years ago @ivy-sims uploaded custom versions of the default faces in the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese installs of the game

I understand what you're saying and we do need more. I'm not a face template collector so there are probably a lot more that I don't know about, it's a niche area of CC creating so it's hard to find people who do it. But here's some links for anyone who's looking for more variety

I agree with @creesims recs! I also think these by Pooklet are quite unique. Deedee has made them non default so you can have them together with Maxis' if you like, it adds variety if you let your game spawn townies, NPCs, etc. I agree that some sets out there are a bit same face-y, but no one's forcing you to download them 🤷🏾‍♀️

In case you didn't know (I didn't), you can patch the tumblr app to stop showing ads and sponsored posts in 5 easy steps.

1. Download the tumblr APK from APKMirror (you need a single APK, not a bundle/split APK). Version 34.9.1.100 worked for me.

2. Install ReVanced.

3. In ReVanced Manager, select the tumblr APK, let it patch it, and install it. If you already have a newer version of tumblr installed, you'll need to uninstall it first.

4. Open the (revanced!) tumblr app and log in to your account.

5. Disable tumblr automatic updates (through the Play Store) and enjoy.

I used the same process for YouTube Music and it also works like a charm (you'll also need MicroG for that one).
