[COLLAR] - sender reaches out to smooth down / fix receiver's collar.

[RUFFLE] - sender ruffles receiver's hair.

[BRACE] - sender braces receiver under the elbow.

[FOREHEAD] - sender feels receiver's forehead.

[HANDS] - sender takes receiver's hands.

[NECKLACE] - sender fastens a necklace around receiver's neck.

[SHOULDER] - sender lays a hand on receiver's shoulder.

[SIT] - sender guides receiver to sit down on a chair / bed / wall / etc.

[LAY] - sender guides receiver by the shoulders to lay back.

[TUG] - sender tugs receiver's hand in an attempt to get them to follow.

[WAIST] - sender rests a hand against receiver's waist.

[SUPPORT] - sender pulls receiver's arm over their shoulder for support.

[DRINK] - sender sets something to drink down in front of receiver.

[FOOD] - sender sets something to eat down in front of receiver.

[BACK] - sender rubs a hand up and down receiver's back.

[COAT] - sender zips / buttons up receiver's coat for them.

[CHEEK] - sender brushes a thumb over receiver's cheek.

[NUZZLE] - sender nuzzles into receiver's neck.

[HUG] - sender tugs receiver in for a hug.

[CHIN] - sender tucks receiver in under their chin.

[LIFT] - sender lifts receiver off the ground (or attempts to).

[CARRY] - sender carries receiver to another location.

below, i’ve compiled a list of [ 50 ] dialogue prompts for your writing and roleplaying needs, all about denying those feelings. inspired by songs, tv series/film, and my daily daydreaming. some of these work as an almost accidental declaration of love, coming to terms with your emotions, or digging yourself deeper into that denial. there are prompts for your ship or a third-party looking in on their mess.

[  ONE  ] :  “ have you heard about how i’m supposedly in love with you ? ”

[  TWO  ] :  “ i never said i was in love with you. ”

[  THREE  ] : “ i hate you. ”

[  FOUR  ] :  “ if somebody i was still in love with was getting serious with somebody else i’d be pretty upset too. ”

[  FIVE  ] :  “ please, i would rather swallow shards of glass than ever date you. ”

[  SIX  ] :  “ being physically attracted to you doesn’t mean i’m in love with you. ”

[  FORTY-FIVE  ] :  “ you never know what might happen if you put yourself out there. ”

[  FORTY-SIX  ] :  “ i never said i hated you. ”

[  FORTY-SEVEN  ] :  “ don’t you find it suspicious that you can’t talk about how you really feel about me/them? ”

[  FORTY-EIGHT  ] :  “ i should have never kissed you. ” 

[  FORTY-NINE  ] :  “ I don’t want to be your friend. ”

“Do you want some painkillers?”

“Let me guess, I should ‘see the other guy’?”

“How’d you get a black eye?”

“I know you don’t do it on purpose, but I wish you’d stop coming home bruised.”

“I like the new look. It suits you.”

“Ouch, that looks like it hurts.”

“Talk to me.”

“You shouldn’t end up with bruises because you disagree with them. You know that, right?”

“Will you tell me how it happened?”

“Come and sit with me.”

ACTIONS

(send ‘+reverse’ to reverse the roles, or specify which muse is which!)

[sit] – sender comes and sits next to a bruised receiver. no words, just warmth.

[care] – sender provides physical care for receiver’s bruises (ice pack, wrapping them up, etc)

[shower] – sender takes one look at a bruised and bloody receiver, and goes to run them a shower. hot showers fix everything.

[offer] – sender has something they know receiver will want, and because receiver has had a bad enough day as it is, sender gives it to them. it’s the little things.

[stay] – sender offers receiver a place to stay, so that – wherever they got these bruises – they don’t have to go back.

[concussion] – sender checks receiver for a concussion, because it’s very possible receiver has one.

The Joker comic I talked about is finally here!

I can't lie, I was pretty disappointed with how the reunion with Joker went in ME2. Out of all the characters, his should have been the most emotionally impactful (he saw Shepard die!!) yet all we got was "Sup?" as though Joker wouldn't have spent the 2 years dealing with insane survivor's guilt. Well to that I say pthhbt. My Shepard would have been beside herself seeing him again for the first time, so he's getting hugged whether he likes it or not.

Also while this is technically part of my ongoing Shakarian comic, please feel free to interpret this as romantic as well as platonic.
