Another little animation I threw together as a Harmony demo. This time to show how I like to use deformers to block in volumes for traditional animation.

For comparison, here's what I started with, where the first frame's drawings are the only ones I created, and envelope deformers were used to create the final pose:

I'm currently offering standard illustrations with fixed prices and custom requests (quote based) but I'll likely put up more listings in the future. I actually posted this yesterday but wound up deleting it because of the update, so here it is again! Finally got around to slapping some colour on this so I could use it as an example for my commissions.

Well, the animation industry is still kind of on fire, so I guess I'll be taking a foray back into the world of commissions for the first time in ages!

Things have changed a lot since the last time I did them though, and these days from what I can find it looks like vgen is a solid option to go through, so I'm looking to get set up as an artist on there. Started teaching part time this year and wanted to do a short piece of animation I could use for a Toon Boom lecture. Didn't need to go this far with it, but I've been meaning to animate Garrus for years now and was having fun.

Happy birthday to me and happy (belated) N7 day to everyone else!

I wanted to get what I've been working on done for N7 day but I've run out of steam with a panel left, so instead I'll just tease you guys with the promise of a new Mass Effect comic some time tomorrow or sunday

Do you guys remember this post way back when? Probably not but unfortunately I have to concede defeat, cause I don't think I'm ever going to finish this set of illustrations (esp. not with a curious grade-schooler who wants to know what I'm up to running around the house).

These are based on Pent Up (rated E) by the incredible @underdark-dreams!!

While I'm unlikely to ever fully finish them, I figure I might as well share them as is.

I should probably wait to post this tomorrow but I'm impatient (so if you notice any mistakes no you didn't) . Only one page because 14 characters, but my motivation to work on stuff has finally returned and I got a new tablet recently so I'm looking for excuses to use it.
