Howdy! We’ve noticed there aren’t as many imagines for this fandom as some other ones the mods have been part of. Lets fix that!

What we wanna do:

We want to provide a space for people to talk about their Magnus Archives F/Os (whether romantic, platonic, or familial!) 

We want to give people ideas for their own fics or daydreams!

We, on occasion, want to make you suffer with canon-typical angst! Don’t worry, canon typical things WILL be tagged :)

About the Mods:

Aotw — resident sexy pants and too many fear alignments to be loyal. Agender, AroAce, Polyam, Diamoric. I’ll write anything platonic or romantic or familial or whatever you like really! The real question is: who does Aotw NOT f/o?

Mel — Resident science enthusiast with too strong of an alignment with the web/eye/vast. Bi/Ace, enby and polyam who writes too much with varying levels of quality, so I can't wait to write for y'all. Main f/os be Tim and Sasha for romantic at least. Then comes a very long list of platonic and for familial lay Breekon and Hope so anything romantic with them shall belong to Aotw as they are the eldritch dads.

Sasha is a tactile person, that’s just a given

Always has an arm draped over your shoulder, rests her chin on the top of your head, everything. Even when the two of you were just friends the pair of you were very free with your touch

So here you are, wrapped in a blanket on a couch in Sasha’s flat, tucked into her side as some shitty movie that you don’t remember the name of plays. You play with her hair, weaving small braids in as you listen to her talk and ramble on about work that day, resisting the urge to lay soft kisses along the side of her throat, just to feel the warmth of her skin against yours.. “And then Tim went ahead and-”

“Tim?”

“Oh yeah! Haven’t I introduced the two of you yet? Must have slipped my mind, but you’ll love him. Terrible jokes, and an even worse fashion sense, but smart as hell, but he’ll never tell you that, or admit to it. He’s tactile too, so we could bring him into this if you wanted?”

You hum, considering the proposal

“We’ll see how it goes then, and we can decide later.” Sasha repeats, pulling you closer into her side as she guides your chin to look at her, eyes intent on your own, dropping to your lips for a second, probably less before returning to your eyes.

Spa Day Skincare

It’s been said over and over again if you wanted to make sure you got a good spa treatment, you should ask Nikola. Still, nothing could quite express how impressed and, for once, relaxed you were.

Friends and family alike had tried year in and out to get you to relax. From massages to breathing slowly to meditation you tried it all and it never quite worked. The bags under your eyes drew baggier, your muscles tenser, and what more--even Nikola doesn’t-experience-human-needs Stranger Queen noticed.

As a game you would start seeing who could Know more

But then were the days when information would seem to dry up and there was only each other

Those were the days he would hold you close, the only salvation when your shared god seemed to abandon you

Yet in arguments, however rare they were, static was all that could be heard, words lost to those outside the Eye

You were both too equally matched in power for any real harm to occur

But your affection for one another always won through that lust for knowledge and power and everything the Eye did to weave through you

Maybe the Eye would fall someday, pulling you both down with it

Jon Comforting Dysphoric Transmasc S/O

It was a rough day. Everything about yourself seemed so wrong and it was too much. 

Which meant it was time to spend a day with your partner. He knew though. Jon always seemed to know when something was bothering you, even if you wouldn't say it.

He offered one of his old hoodies from uni, baggy and perfect for hiding someone's form. He played with your hair, a comment about the coarseness or how handsome the style made you. Jon wouldn't press.

But when you would finally say something. Something about your body just being *wrong.* And he would understand. He always seemed to understand when you talked about this. And when you needed advice he knew. When it was just comfort, he know. And today was a comfort day.

"I'll always seen you the way you want to be seen." He promised, pressing a kiss to your temple and holding you tighter, chin resting on your shoulder as you sat together watching some shit rerun that didn't take much in brain power to process.

(*Rubs hands together*)

You have no idea what you have unleashed

He had warned against going to see the Desolation avatar. Told you it was a bad idea, but the strong will that had drawn him to you was your downfall. And it would be the downfall of whoever had taken his love away from him. He could still see your hands scrabbling to pat down the flames.

You had always loved fire. Bonfires or candles or fireworks or even just the flame on a lighter. You had burned just as bright, drawing a moth to your flame. But then the flame went out. He could hear the panicked scream. He could hear the realization in your voice. And he heard that final "I love you" before your throat and vocal cords had been overtaken by flame and smoke and ash.

Fire had destroyed you despite how much you loved it. He had allowed you to be destroyed despite how much he loved you. Love seemed to be the grand equalizer, even the best falling to it, and Elias was no exception. Love is what had drove him for so long. Twisted forms of love. His love for power. For control. His love for his god. But then there was you and he realized what love truly was.

Love was a warm breeze or your smile or your laugh. Love was when everything was meant to be. And this avatar had taken that spark away from him. This avatar had taken you away from the world. They would pay, of that he was certain.

His shirt was red up to the elbows in blood. He could feel the burn of the desolation as he crushed the organs his hands found. Hands that had been so gentle carding through your hair, now covered in gore. The heart would be last. Symbolic almost.

He ignored the avatar's screams, it was simple enough. Bludgeon the head and they couldn't move. But they felt it, they would die feeling the pain as they had done to you. When all was finished he tore their heart from their chest, watching it sputter and spasm, blood running in fresh rivulets down his arm. The body was disposed of easy enough.

Hold Me Until The Night Is Over...

You awoke with a start. The nightmares haven’t left you for weeks. The bags under your eyes have gotten heavier, the sleep in your brain making it hard to walk about the house, to even do as much as hold your partner’s hand was too much. But the last action wasn’t completely because of the exhaustion. Nightmares had gripped Jon as well. Jon had long been awakened by another nightmare, and sat up seemingly dissociating while staring at the wall. You wished you could comfort the exhausted archivist, but you had to comfort yourself first.

Don’t Let Me Go

Your tears streamed down your face as Peter hugged you fully. He didn’t quite understand how you feared the ocean, but he wouldn’t make you explain. He loved you, and that wouldn’t change how he felt about you. As he told you so, he felt he did something wrong since you began crying even more. His hand held your head gently against his chest, his other hand, lightly yet comfortingly, wrapped around your back.

You were afraid of him going out to sea again. How could you not? How he talked about it and gushed about his love for it. It scared you. Not because he loved or enjoyed something but because it was something you were terrified of. Something you were afraid would get him too.

The Great Destruction of Mercury Neon

Mercury had long since let go of all the reservation towards the Fears that plagued neb in the beginning. Fear of becoming someone bad, someone evil. But that didn’t matter anymore. Neb was tired, and neb saw that there was more to the Fears than plain evil.

Regardless, that scratching at nebs mind never left. The scratching neb felt nebs entire life, the scratching neb couldn’t force away but seemed to grow in intensity each day. It was with this that neb would chase after its quelling. From the haunting of the Eye, Lonely and Vast to the adoption of the Flesh, to the Stranger, to the Corruption, to the Slaughter, Mercury couldn’t get the scratching to stop. Neb had halved nebs soul in so many parts that neb was only tired. There was no more fear or reluctance in giving nebself to more eldritch entities. And as much as Mercury wanted to hold on to this notion that neb hadn’t succumbed to some greater evil, coupled with delusions of being good, Mercury wasn’t human in the way neb knew anymore.

And it was while being aimless in nebs travels that everything seemed to flip, like a trapdoor swishing Mercury into some upside-down world. And nebs mind broke like porcelain being pierced. Into a million pieces did nebs last bit of self become. Pieces too small to be nebself anymore.

The colors and doorways and mirrors surrounded nebs as neb seemed to scream in silence and run in all directions. Nothing made sense yet made perfect sense. And that constant psychosis that followed neb nebs entire life finally caught up with neb. Being manipulated and twisted and played with like a toy by the Spiral.

And so neb spiraled into the last Fear that would claim neb.
