🗣️Calling for Artists and Musicians!

Young Woman #1: Female-passing voice. Mostly, you'll need to do various grunting sounds for a fight scene. Hyperventilating and crying will also be involved. However, there will be a single line, very emotionally delivered.

Young Woman #2: Also female-passing, also mostly grunting, a couple lines, and hyperventilating. However, this role needs for you to be able to scream in pain. And I mean, REALLY scream.

Mantis Child: A child voice. One of the mantis nymphs, so think of the way child Sophodra's voice sounds. Several lines of dialogue for this one, but that's about it.

As before, I can't afford to pay a lot. In USD, that'll be $40 for each role. I'll keep auditions open until April 28th. If you're selected, you'll have May 5th as the deadline to get your lines in!

Make sure you have good, clear audio quality for this! Send me a test recording from the example lines listed below. You can DM me on Tumblr, Instagram, or Patreon (username for all is humansbgone). It might take me some time to get back to you. I look forward to hearing from you!

Young Woman #1 Lines:

Grunting, fighting sounds

Hyperventilating, crying

Very solemnly delivered: "Wait for me."

Young Woman #2 Lines:

Grunting, fighting sounds

Panting, out of breath: "We need a plan."

Hyperventilating in pain, turning into a scream

Mantis Child Lines:

Excitedly: "I got it, I got it!!!"

Petulantly, arguing: "No, I was gonna get it."

Attention theater nerds across Tumblr!

You may have seen the fan-song I arranged for a Fan song Reprise of Nerdy Prudes Must Die, set right after Cool as I Think I Am (Reprise). Well, I'm keeping this train rolling!

THE GOAL: Record a version with multiple actors (not just me doing silly voices) and work on turning it into a fully fleshed out Animatic!

To that end, Auditions are open! Anyone can audition for any part so long as they can sing it! A couple of things to note:

Full disclosure: I plan to take one of the roles in the final version, though which one will depend on the final cast breakdown!

Its a fan song! No one gets paid! Its just for fun!

Priority will be given to those with the ability to record clean audio (I do have a tutorial in the audition materials for those of you new to voice over!)

There will be a discord server for those who get cast so we can communicate easily

Max and Grace are reserved for those over 18 years of age!

The Lords in Black are heavier in Acting and lighter in singing, for those of you who may be nervous about singing!

Once cast we will be using bandlabs to help with the recording process!
