There's something inherent in Wendy's character that I've always loved in the stories: her fantastical, romantic mind and her melancholy. She yearns for adventure while simultaneously feeling guilty because she loves her family too much to abandon them.

The story takes place 10 years after Ash wins the World Championship. Having been the unbeaten champion for a decade, he is widely regarded as the greatest Pokémon Master in history. However, despite his achievements, Ash feels that something is missing. Meanwhile, a mysterious man has begun uniting the remnants of various villainous teams in Kanto. Team Rocket recently attacked Galar, stealing Galar particles, and rumors suggest they’ve also targeted Celebi’s forest for reasons unknown and stolen the crystals tied to Kyogre and Groudon. The strongest trainers, including the Elite Four, are mobilizing to counter the threat, but Ash has taken it upon himself to investigate Team Rocket’s activity in Kanto.

Also, the "But you're not all boys." "So?" set of lines rubs me the wrong way. I'd say I should wait until the movie actually comes out before I judge it as a whole, but considering how boring Neverland looks, I'm seriously doubting whether I will watch it in cinemas or not.

And including girls into the lost boys is just...wrong. The reason why Wendy was special in Neverland was because there were not much women or girls in the group. There were no Lost Girls since it is believed that girls are too smart to fall from their prams.
