I hate when people get mad at accounts who post soft Annabeth headcanons. “She’s not like that! It’s just not canon!” Do we have the same Annabeth? Is this not the girl who holds Percy’s hand when she gets scared and cried while saying goodbye to Cerberus ? It’s okay for strong people to be sensitive

i do think its ?? when people are like “solangelo shouldn’t have happened because its unrealistic for nico to be in a relationship so soon” because like. nico automatically getting attached to someone who gave him ten seconds of positive attention and ignoring all logic is. incredibly on brand for him

i feel like jason could have been a lot more compelling of a character if his goodness was presented in an interesting way. because like at every opportunity he is given at every choice he faces he always chooses to be good and to put his interests aside and resolve conflict rather than be selfish and immature.. and this is written in a very milquetoast way! but i think it couldve both lended to the tragedy of his character and his likeability.. take ashitaka for instance, a guy who is surrounded by war and conflict and doesn’t pick sides but instead tries to bring about the greatest amount of good.. whenever he is presented with an easy way to end the conflict through violence or letting someone die he never chooses it! and that made him not only a likeable character but also interesting which jason was not in most parts.. i think that jason just lacked sufficient contrast to make him compelling 

i hate the way jason and nico’s friendship started and that nico had to go through the humiliation of being outed but the way jason handled it was so … good?? like nico, no one’s going to judge you for that, that’s just stupid. we’re your friends. you’re allowed to have a family. no one thinks you’re weird. i’ll let you do it on your own time, but i’m here for you. their dynamic just <33
