We have Memotone's unique style of electronica right here for you with his Beat This episode (in which he's challenged to produce a track in just 10 minutes), fresh from The Just Jam Van. We love his innovative use of the instruments and technology - the process behind his originality is fascinating & exactly what The Jameson Works is all about.
Documentary filmmakers Victoria & Loubna also secured funding from The Jameson Works for their feature length documentary film "The Castle" about Southwark landmark, the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre - soon to be demolished. The documentary weaves together the lives of a number of shop owners and locals.
We are over the moon to help fund our second winner Rebecca Cronshey, she impressed the judges with her film "Little Bird" which is based on a true story from the family of the writer and actress Emily Taaffe. The script celebrates women's empowerment during WWII.
Following our film bursary winner announcement a few weeks back, allow us to introduce filmmakers Jamie, Archie & (another) Jamie, who are creating a music video called 'Next To You' which will feature a live performance by multi-instrumentalist soul musician Andrew Ashong. On winning the bursary they said "a live performance should give you a real insight into an artist's personality that feels intimate and honest and that’s what we hope to do." We can't wait to see it.

We were spoilt for choice in Scotland with a whole host of local talent performing, both in the city and on the banks of Loch Lomond. We got stuck in exploring the buzzing scene up there, with up-and-coming DJs/ producers Nightwave, DJ Milktray and Inkke. Bleaker also created this epic Just Jam set.
Earlier this year the Just Jam Van tour, part of our collaboration with creative duo Tim & Barry, took place. We travelled around the country to uncover the face of British underground music today and to showcase the craft that comes from the scene.
Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing some of the sets we filmed on the trip.
First up is Inkke, a Glasgow-based producer making waves with his unique brand of grime and electronic music.
Check out his skills in this Just Jam video.
Calling all filmmakers! It’s time to announce the winners of our Film Bursary.
We were blown away by the number of submission and the quality of work from you all - British independent film making is indeed a creative force to be reckoned with. But sadly we couldn’t choose them all.
So allow us to present this year’s bursary winners: Rebecca Cronshey, Georgia Oakley and Emily Taaffe; Jamie Gyngell and Jamie Whitby; and finally Loubna Turjuman and Victoria Burns. We’ll be sharing their stories soon so stay tuned. Thank you to everyone who applied. Stay creative!
The film bursary is now closed. Thanks for all your entries - we can't wait to read them. We'll be announcing the winners in the next few weeks so watch this space...
Just over a week to go until the film bursary closes, so get cracking with your entries. Whether you need some funding for skills training, a camera for a forthcoming project, a piece of editing kit for the final stages of a film you've already made, or anything in between, we're here to help.
Just tell us a bit about your project, how much you need and what you need it for by Sunday 12th June to be in with a chance.

Christina Liu, one of the winners of the 'Form & Function' bursary last year, has been busy perfecting her The Jameson Works project, the spiral plates.
She told us a little more about the final stages:
"The design successfully translated into clay - the spiral track I designed into the plate functioned the way I intended it to, allowing sauce to flow down to the bottom of the plate. Thanks again for the bursary to help make this happen!"
Christina will be showing her ceramics at her upcoming degree show at the Royal College of Art this summer.
Enter Dan Thompson and Dawn Cole, the last of this year's bursary winners.
They're working together to set up Start The Press, a mobile print-makers in Margate, Kent. They were inspired by The Thanet Press, a former printers in the town. Having purchased some old printing plates and learning how to use them, they're taking their skills to the road to teach others how to do the same and to keep this traditional way of letter-pressing alive.
We'll be keeping you posted on their bursary project here.
In need of some creative film inspiration for our film bursary? Check out 'Jump', devised by Jessica Valentine, one of 2014's Jameson First Shot winners. The story takes place during a 48 hour observation at a psych ward, where Jack meets Wendy, a young woman with a unique obsession...
Introducing another of our wonderful bursary winners, Romily Alice. The artist, based in Leeds, experiments with all sorts of art, but is particularly interested in neon.
In her own words "craftsmanship is important to me; if I want to make something I’ll learn how. My material choices are determined by my ideas but I’m a sucker for neon, textiles and gifs."
She was first introduced to neon bending at Neon Workshops in Wakefield, they are the only neon making school still operating in the UK.
Stay tuned to hear how she's progressing with her 'Transition & Transformation' project.

This is Fay McCaul, another of this year's bursary winners. Fay mixes modern materials – fibre optics and iridescent acrylic – with traditional knitting methods to create innovative textiles.
Allow us to introduce one of this year's Transition and Transformation bursary winners, Helen Brittain, from Bristol.
Helen creates handcrafted, artisanal paper made from recycled and waste materials. She loves to experiment with different colours and tones & each sheet of paper is one of a kind, as even sheets made from the same batch of pulp vary from piece to piece.
Helen trained as a molecular biologist, but now sticks to experiments in the studio instead of the lab!
Keep checking in to hear the latest on her project.
