i just kind of think if you're this "worried" about taylor's exposure you're no better than the people you're looking down on who are overly invested in her personal life tbh. because at the end of the day taylor is the one choosing to go out and have a good time and just live her life and if that's got you in knots then that's unfair. taylor is fully aware of the nature of her fame and how people react to it and if she's still choosing to go out and be seen then that's what she wants despite whatever you think will happen to her public image. also it shows very little faith in her to think that after this, people just aren't going to pay attention to her work or take her seriously?? she's proven time and again that she knows how to make people pay attention to her work. if you're sick of seeing her and hearing about her then direct your attention somewhere else. she is fully escapable because i have been away from tumblr and social media in general and haven't had to hear anything about her unless i seek it out. so just do what she's doing and live your life. i've just woken up and all i see are people going on and on about how upsetting this is but what do you WANT? do you want her to go and hide? if she doesn't want to do that (and she clearly doesn't) then she doesn't have to.
