the abbigail storyline #ToMe shows Eddie’s potential to be a foster dad. im of the opinion that if eddie even got to the place of wanting more kids, he wouldnt want a fresh newborn. if anything, i see him fostering wayward teens/adolescents, kids who have no one and need someone to help them get on their feet, someone to love them. and eddie probably sees himself in these kids, lost and afraid, down on their luck, and wants to give them a home to feel safe in, to be supported by a parent, since he never got that!! and maybe one kid will tug on his heartstrings so much he wants them forever, but truly i think he’d be the best foster dad ever, even if it meant having to let them go eventually
