New olivia on friday how am I supposed to focus on anything else
I maintain that the best summation of my feminist beliefs are that men and women are not fundamentally different. There are a few quantifiable differences if you average out every woman and every man, but they are not qualitative. And most of them are socially constructed, and would be fixed if we started treating men and women the same. Neither is inherently smarter, neither is inherently kinder, neither is inherently more stoic or stronger or angrier or softer. Everyone is obsessed with the differences between women and men, with finding them and creating them and distancing themselves from the "other half". It's fucked up
While often different in practice, cissexism, transphobia, and homophobia are all rooted in oppositional sexism, which is the belief that female and male are rigid, mutually exclusive categories, each possessing a unique and nonoverlapping set of attributes, aptitudes, abilities, and desires. Oppositional sexists attempt to punish or dismiss those of us who fall outside of gender or sexual norms because our existence threatens the idea that women and men are “opposite” sexes.

“It's such a good song. I love this movie so much, so I'm so glad that it resonated with her and she wanted to write a song for it, because it means so many more people come to see the movie. It's a great girl-power movie, and her song is so great. It's beautiful and it fits perfectly."

tumblr is the funniest social media site to go viral on
on tiktok people will quit their jobs after going viral once but on here not only can any post get 50k notes, but if it does theres nothing you can do with it. theres no monetization or any transferable skills at all. you just made a funny post and people liked it and thats the start and end of your career
you could say "i left the stove on" with no context and it might break containment on here and people start tagging it with ships and kins and theres no way to delete it forever unless staff gets involved. your mistake will never go away but your claim to fame will instantly
its like yes im the pineapple werewolf guy but no one outside of here and like 5 posts on reddit will ever know what that sentence means. i could jump on tiktok and no one would know me. no one on youtube or facebook. this is my little corner of the internet and i will die here before i give up that title and when i do know i lost nothing in the process

but it don't matter, love don't ever fall out even
June is pride month, and I think a lot about how it is very brave to be vulnerable about your feelings in that sense and in that situation, but it is even more brave to be honest about your feelings about who you love when you know that might be met with adversity from society. And so this month, and every month, I want to send my love and respect to everybody who has been brave enough to be honest about how you feel, to live their lives as they are, as they feel they should be, as they identify, and this is a month where we need to celebrate how far we’ve come, but also we need to acknowledge how far we have left to go. And I want to send my love and respect out to everybody who in their journey or in their life hasn’t yet felt comfortable enough to come out. And may you do that in your own time, and may we all ultimately live in a world where we can be able to love people and no one has to be afraid to love people and say how they feel. Because when it comes to feelings and when it comes to love and searching for someone to spend your whole life with, it’s all just really, really delicate, you know?
I think the most damage this site has done to me is making me think "It's fucken wimdy" when it is, in fact, fucken wimdy outside.
I taught one of my ranching buddies “it fucken wimdy” and now he says it around his older more established ranching buddies
The exhilaration I get- upon hearing an old rancher (I’ve never met before) in cowboy boots and a cowboy hat while on a horse, grimly saying “it fucken wimdy” in a thick west Texas accent as he looks down upon his cows- is incalculable
Hi Cleo! Your work is stunning and always looks so effortless. If you don't want to take the time for my question I understand, but would you consider explaining how you make your blend sets with such distinct separation of color in a way that looks clean like in this shauna set you made: /post/788528358334119936/ I've always wanted to create blends like this but have never been able to achieve it. The colors when overlayed blend together and just don't look like this in all of my experience with creating blends. If you could ever provide some kind of walkthrough example with some tips on how to get this look, I would be forever grateful. Otherwise, thanks for sharing your beautiful works with us to feast our eyes on, you are so talented ✨
thank you so much nonny, that is so sweet of you. i'm always happy to talk giffing, and sorry this took so long, personal shit and all
i'll go over my colouring for that set so you can see how it all looks underneath the colour layers, but i think the trick to making the colours both pop is to have a lot of contrast in the gifs, both before you add the colour layers, and within the colour layers themselves.
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero...

its still funny that this is the site where ppl love to pass mental illness diagnostic labels around to each other like tokens as some sort of bonding ritual but the second you so much as allude to anything actually inhibiting your functioning or being legitimately disabling in some way suddenly its 'omg you people cant do anything' screenshots all the way down
Show me the places where the others gave you scars
