I'm personally more satisfied with this chapter than I am with most, so hopefully it's ok? It's obscenely long, which is a theme here, isn't it? Hopefully it's worth it. I'm not splitting it because it's not possible. I mean, I could, but it's really meant to be connected and I'm sorry.

Ok! So, very long chapter (30+?k!) including one novella length scene. It just happened that way. Sorry. This is the last chapter before the END TIMES which is pretty much written. Long fic/10+ years doesn't deserve a rushed ending.

π₯I can't remember what a character's name was (the minister driving the car that crashed into Light/Watari's, but I suspect that he was either just 'Cultureβ or he was a name in a long list and I can't be bothered to check. He's now Homura anyway. It means βflameβ or βblazeβ which appeals to my terrible sense of humour.
π« A few references to either Henry VI or Richard II (I can't remember), because I'm a mad Oxfordian and this fic isn't pretentious enough without it apparently.
