i hate when a character finds out shes pregnant after her husband/bf/etc has died and is like its one last gift from him. like that reads as horror to me guys

#in the last bridgerton season i was like why is this being treated as a positive!!!#the best handling of this in my memory is actually a tree grows in brooklyn #they are barely scraping by and with father dead now a newborn is literally the worst thing possible for them #and they kinda try to treat it as a last gift but the older kids have to give up on school and work fulltime and they become so desperate #and to me leaving the mother pregnant is more of a continuation of the fathers loving presence but also the way his alcoholism and behavior #contributed greatly to their poverty #its like the conflicting love and resentment of the father lives on #also the mother had tried to miscarry one of her older children previously so you wonder if that may be the solution to their current state

i’m laughing gansey fr went

my coworkers were giving me so much hate for complaining about a splinter in my dominant hand because apparently that shouldnt make it more difficult to remove. am i crazy or is this a wild sentiment that it is very hard to tweeze out a tiny splinter using your nondominant hand

#and guess what i tried and couldnt do it #honestly i just feel like you need both hands to get out a splinter #life is strange when you have no one to ask to help w splinter except coworkers #i actually did ask MD PhD in my dept bc my hand was actually swollen and he was like i guess i can take it out but itll prob work itsef out #and then he charged me $200 copay. kidding #and someone else suggested sterilizing some lab tweezers that he has used WITH STAPH. i al #so everyone is useless #mutuals come help me
