But like,,, I have a hard time letting it go. Because it created a lot of parallels with how Todd reacted to finding out. Like, Neil falls to his death into a pile of snow, and the Todd the next morning collapses on his knees, screaming into the very last thing that got to hold Neil. All of the poets are standing out there, knee deep in the very thing that will be Neil’s final resting place, mourning for a friend who finally, finally was himself, just once, just that one night. The snow keeps falling in the morning, covering up his body, covering up his face, muting his heart and freezing his lungs. The snow keeps falling and Todd falls with it to the ground, screaming himself hoarse, loudest he’s ever been, blankets and muted by pure white snow. Idk, the snow imagery was cool.

Idk seems better than having the character who fought so hard to learn to enjoy life and got past his suicidal ideation sacrifice himself like he didn’t just go through eight seasons of character growth. Genuinely this feels like something season one Bobby would have done, it’s like they took all his growth and threw it out the window.
