so I was having a convo with an anti-rq on main, agreeing with them about some aspects. I said I was neutral-rq and that im keeping it simple because I did not want to argue with austin.

the only thing they responded with was along the lines of “you should argue with him sometime”

austin is basically my little brother and I love him. this feels so weird to tell someone to do. why would you want an argument to start in someone’s system? if I was stupid, which im not, what if id actually done it? what if i had a huge argument with austin and our system’s dynamics broke apart? (Further, but they probably didn’t read my recent posts, so im not going to blame them for not knowing we’re struggling keeping our system up.)

like if someone has -13 dni, for example, that doesn’t mean they don’t want -13yos on the internet. that doesn’t mean they’re against trans -13yos either. all it means is that they don’t want -13yos interacting with them.

obviously it doesn’t apply to minorities, though. you can’t say “people of color dni” and expect that to be fine.
