Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

Do you ever think about how there are 7 billion people in this world? 7 billion. All doing different things. Thinking, laughing, crying, eating, sleeping, anything. Now think about the amount of rooms there are in the world. They are filled with these people. Filled with ideas, memories (good or bad), feelings, hopes, and dreams. The rooms could be serious, wild, fun, or sad. People could be testing, dreaming, learning, dancing, singing, laughing, at a concert, at a ball, in a conference, having makeup sex, or sleeping in class. All these rooms are filled to the roof with emotions. Imagine all the people that have been in those rooms, changing the mood of it each time they leave and enter again. The room could be used for storage, it could have been burned down, if could have a loving family living in it, or an abusive one. Everything happens at once. All around this humongous world. Your world is not just “where you are” at a certain moment in time. People are living and breathing all around the world.
