I feel like part of the reason I want a protag swap so bad in Slayhem is because it'd probably be a lot easier to remake the cast's FTEs if they're talking to somebody else entirely, like how Kaede and Shuichi have different FTEs. So I feel like either a protag swap or a Remnants awakening is imminent

If Fuyuhiko dies in 2x2 it would be SO cool to have Peko's FTE'S be different, since it's pretty heavily implied her childhood friend that she plans to confess to in the FTE'S is Fuyuhiko.

Like after his death, during FTE'S Hajime asks again about her childhood friend, maybe to take her mind off his death (assuming their past gets revealed), or just to hang out, encourages her to confess to her friend, and she's like "I can't anymore."

Either:

Hajime (if her past has been reveals) IMMEDIATELY figures it out and comforts her about it (would be cool)

OR

Hajime doesn't know what she means and is confused. Maybe it even gets revealed to him as the game goes on, and he realises who her "friend" is.

Either way I do like the idea of her FTE'S being totally different depending on him dying. Would be cool if the end of the FTE'S has Peko feeling more like a human than a tool, and dealing with her grief too.

Also would be nice to have Natsumi mentioned.

i think what bothers me about a lot of "girl power" narratives is that they function on the implicit idea on the idea that women can become worthy of respect. and i happen to think that really caring about women means believing they already are worthy of respect. that historical seamstresses and soccer moms and forgotten sisters and sweet polite little girls and someone's weird grandma matter just as much as the warriors and politicians, even if they, personally, never accomplish anything "cool."
