That was all that mattered. I was so awkward and insecure that I took and ran with the first bit of attention that was forced my way. Even when my friends tried to protect me, nothing could stop me from wanting to feel accepted. 🤷🏻‍♀️ - - I would then be recovering from that decision for over a year. 💔 - - What was your first experience with love? Sometimes grief is tricky. Like all pain it demands to be felt. But unlike most physical pain, there are times when you have no idea when it’s going to hit you. I was doing the dishes and heard a song that a relative had taught me on the guitar when I was little. He passed months ago, but I had felt nothing at the time. When I heard that song, I crumbled.
