This gown was most recently seen in the BBC's 2005 adaptation of Charles Dickens' π©ππππ π―ππππ, where Natalie Press wore it as Caddy Jellyby. Β But that's not where it began its life. Β Four years earlier, Victoria Hamilton wore the dress as Queen Victoria in the 2001 production π½πππππππ & π¨πππππ. I was watching Anne with an E on Netflix and much to ny delight, I noticed that the episodes are named after Jane Eyre lines and now my day is made!
