Have I shared this here or not? IDK but I am now!
"Jet's 2 Types of Collectors!"
(Note: this is just for fun and neither type is inherently bad)
1. "The Dragon"
This collector always makes sure to get every part of a collection or series. They'll still collect random trinkets but will typically try to make sure it's a complete set.
Example: A new Monster High line comes out. A dragon type collector will likely get every doll in the lineup even if they don't like some.
2. "The Goblin"
This collector is far less likely to collect the entire set of something. Instead, they just snatch up whichever and whatever they like to add to their hords. Doesn't matter if they have every last one or not.
Example: A new Monster High line comes out. A goblin collector is far more likely to get the one or two dolls they like as opposed to the entire set.
Collector
I originally drew/came up with this character 2 years ago. The theme for Dimi's drawing challenge this week was "Bone Collector" so redrawing this guy felt appropriate. Collector is a slime/blob-like creature that dissolves and absorbs their prey, save some of the bones. The bones are a bit more difficult to absorb, and take active effort to do so. Coincidentally, Collector likes to honor their prey by keeping some of the bones and putting them on display. A way to remember them as they have become a permanent part of Collector. Don't you like their bones? Oh, here's the original drawing I did.
where the FUCK do you get all of your books about greasers holding hands and frolicking in fields.... aka the outsiders
woah.... I never thought I'd get this question... I definetly didn't tell you to ask me this...
okay so theres a few main places
thrift stores (in my area thats savers or goodwill)
thriftbooks.com (cheap books, most of my other SE hinton books are from thriftbooks) also sometimes they have stuff where you can get like an extra book under five bucks on your order and a lot of books are under five books so idk....
ebay (ebay is where I got the elusive fifth printing hardback...) loads of options on there, recently saw a first printing up for like 250?? which is still a lot (I paid 240 for my fifth printing) I was thinking of buying it but ehhhh I already have one thats pretty much identical (heres the link btw)
