âI hope you find peace in your life and the warmth youâve been longing for. I hope that someday you will realize that life will remain an emotional roller coaster ride but you have the choice to live your own light. That it is okay to begin again. It is okay to use the pause button, breathe, and fulfill something better and more relevant in the future. As long as it makes you feel better without feeling guilty about it and as long as your heart is at peace, donât loose your hope just yet. Youâll get there one day.â

Thank you girls @piacaptivates, @tricia-speak, @perkyjessie and @foureyeduniverse. I decided to put them all together in one post. Hihi. :)
( I know this is seven days late but I still have to publish this here because I donât want to start 2016 without ending 2015 properly in the bloggary. )
2015: The year of being consciously alive.
Looking back to my previous years, all I could remember was how âgo with the flowâ I was. I was always afraid that things might go wrong once I push through something I really want or I might disappoint people that are dear to me. Not even thinking that by doing so, means compromising my growth. My always and only hope is that the current of life will pull me into a favorable path.
Then came 2015, the year when it all changes â in a good way I must say.
Twenty fifteen to me was all about chasing passions, keeping up with goals, committing to self-growth, building confidence, enjoying my individuality, rekindled relationships, acknowledging and dealing with my weaknesses at the same time, and watching the world go by. Although it seems really great with all that being laid in, but the process and behind the scenes got me thinking that I couldnât do any of it and brought out a bucket of tears. But then if you put your heart into it and your trust to the Lord, there really is nothing that you canât do, and that was how I survived 2015 with a happy and contented heart.
In 2015 I also went to places Iâve never been to, with the people that take up a special spot in my heart. My love for outdoors was heightened and satisfied. I love going to places no matter the hassle of commuting. I especially love trips that involved the nature or the beach even if I donât know how to swim. I figured that this kind of activities ignites my core, and got me wanting to see more.
Capayas Island, Lopez Jaena
Cebu â Bohol AdventureÂ
River Hopping in the 1st Distirct of Mis Occ
Dela Paz Beach Resort, Jimenez
Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur
Bukagan Hill
Tubod, Lanao del Norte
Oroquieta City
I believe in the saying that goes âWe donât meet people by accident, they are meant to cross our path for a reason.â and for the year of the sheep, Iâve been face to face with different kinds of individual that really made impact in my life. First of, I had the privileged to met the best dentists in the country, and was greatly inspired to learn and do more in my chosen field. Second would be the new friends that thought me how to have a great time, and let me experienced a lot of firsts. And lastly, those who slowly broke my heart that actually made me stronger in the end. Now, as I feel my heart in the calmness that surrounds me, I have nothing but a big thank you for those people who build me up and those who tried to tear me down.
All in all, Iâm just grateful for everyone and everything that happened in the 366 days of 2015. For those who stayed, encouraged, and watched me grow not only physically but in all the aspects of life. For those who thought me things that I âam now capable of doing. For those who believed in the things that I never even thought I âam capable of. For those angels that God provided me with. And lastly, for that one person who makes my heart flatter up until now.⼠Â
Thank you 2015, for all the: meaningful, lovely, dull and bad days. What a year of betterment and growth it has been. Hello 2016, letâs fill you up with love, peace, commitment to be better and achieved goals.

Tangub City is at it again, their annual month-long Christmas symbols festival. This year is no different from the previous ones, wherein the cityâs plaza is covered and glowing with bright and colorful Christmas lights assembled into different variety of miniature famous country landmarks. As each Christmas passed by, the plaza only gets stunner and more vibrant. Continuing the same theme as last year, âChristmas around the world part fourâ. (The above photos shows my top four bet.)
It was another crazy and unplanned adventure with my Dent family. Theyâre really good at this, spontaneity I mean. This time around I get to try the hassle of commuting just for a quick glimpse of âThe Christmas Capital of The Philippinesâ and I wasnât disappointed. The commuting part just doubled the fun and the breezy atmosphere just magnifies December feels. Walking around the plaza with a playful and silly company made the experience more enticing and worth while.
Anyhow, advance happy new year everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful New Yearâs Eve celebration.
As much as I want to catch up on blogging, Iâam so tied up right now with all the responsibilities at home. Rest assured tho, that Iâam still alive and updated with all your Christmasy and the 2015 looking back  post on my dash. Keep them coming loves. <3
Whenever clinic becomes stressful and things donât go on as how I planned them to be, I refuse to get downhearted and replenish instead. A new environment away from the Uni and food is always a welcome idea to someone as vexed from clinical requirements as Iâam. Fortunately, a number of businessmen in the city are now venturing in cafe and restaurants wherein cravings for a nice place to linger and good food at a reasonable price (especially for students like me) are now within reach.Â
Cake Machine is located at the heart of the City (JP Rizal Avenue, Ozamiz City) and one of the new place in town. The place is warm and cozy perfect for some âme timeâ or a group-date with friends and family. Â Â Â
What  I love about the place is their friendly staff that really caters to your need and respectfully suggest the best in their menu when youâre a newbie and confused on what to eat. Their mouth-watering, flavorful and beautifully designed cakes  (in which i didnât get the chance to capture but you can visit their facebook page) are also a must-try! Plus, they didnât limit their menu to cakes alone considering the shopsâ name, you can also have pasta, a burger, a sausage craze, and you can even go healthy on their chefâs salad. Now, who in their right mind woundât want that?
As for my first visit, I had a white spaghetti since Iâm not really in the mood for cakes that time and a lychee shake. The sauce on my white spag has a very pleasant flavor and taste and the texture was a little on the runny side, the pasta is just rightly cooked the way how I like it. I really enjoyed it. The lychee shake on the other hand is quite bland. I guess Iâm too obsessed with white, that it shows even in my choice of food. :) Iâm eyeing their blueberry cheesecake on my next visit.Â
In coping with the bigger world that Iâam soon to face, I have to make sure that Iâm not only OOTD-ready.
As an early twenty-something, itâs certainly not the time to just sit around and write all the goals or things I want in life and wait for all of it to happen. Itâs the exploring period and making all those list dance to life. Now the trouble is, how am I gonna make it happen? Especially, when youâre not yet character ready which is exactly my case.
So, Iâm into this project of updating myself with nothing but goodness. Having the goal to be a better version of me, of killing old bad habits and turning them into a state of being productive, of searching for motivation and inspiration that would push my limits, of unleashing my heartâs desire, and of discovering and unwrapping Godâs precious gift one course at a time.
This time around, itâs not only the closet that needs updating.
Five things I aspire to be & what Iâm doing with them.
1.) Â To be:Â Time Conscious -Â The first on my list because this is the most important thing in which, I unfortunately lack or neglect doing. Almost always, Iâve to reschedule things because Iâam more of a time-consuming type than someone who can do things straight away.
What Iâm doing now:Â To eradicate my being âtime-consumingâ Iâam now putting a certain time frame in each task that I have to do. I also separate things that Iâve to prioritize.
2.)  To be: Economically Wise - I can no longer count the times wherein I have to ask my Mom for an   extra allowance to cover up my faulty budgeting. Iâam not saying this   insinuating that Iâm proud of it, because Iâm not. This is something I   want so hard to change, and yet it is just so difficult to turn your back   to that book youâve always wanted, to a lunch/dine-out and milktea date   with friends, and that pair of lovely shoes you see somewhere in the mall. That love-at-first sight connection with your wants in life is certainly a backbreaking temptation to resist.Â
What Iâm doing now: As tough as it is, I have to keep reminding myself to save now and spend later. To save, save, and save money some more. I also do grocery as fast as I could to avoid buying unnecessary   stuff that I wonât be needing in the long run
3.) Â To be:Â Self-disciplined -Â I wish Iâve learn this earlier in my younger years so I wouldnât have difficulties turning down temptations and distractions as to what I really should be doing and getting. Â It frustrates me how easily I get distracted and side-tracked. Â Also, I have that affinity to easily cancel or move priorities for the nonsense things in the long run. Â While it is not really bad to indulge every now and then, itâs not also a good thing to be too lax with everything. Iâm a firm believer that great things need hard work. Â Â Â Â
What Iâm doing now: So to fight off being too close with destructing oneâs self, I fill my mind with Godâs words every time the urge to just set aside everything arise. I remove temptations as much as possible and imagine scenarios about the bigger picture.
4.) Â To be:Â Sensitive towards others -Â Most of the time, I tend to be too blunt and careless about my words and actions towards others especially if I donât like the person. But, I just realized how immature this attitude is. In my lifetime Iâll probably encounter a lot of different individual and personalities. I donât think itâs wise to form an opinion about them without even trying to understand their feelings and thoughts. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
What Iâm doing now:Â Whenever that feeling of being off about a certain person takes place, instead of walking away I smile it off and start small talk with that someone. I used to think that itâs fake doing so, but now I think itâs called respect.Â
5.)  To be: Focused and determined - Like  I said earlier, I easily get distracted with so many things. Thus, staying focused is one tough job for me.Â
What Iâm doing now:Â Iâam currently keeping a bullet journal to stay at the top of my priorities every now and then. Also, to record things that should be done and to remember tasks because I suck at remembering stuff. It kind of help me avoid reacting to every distractions that suddenly comes up.
Thatâs all there is to it. 2016, a better me is coming!Â
I hope you loves are all having a great day! Thank you for reading you.
November is ending in just two days, I canât help but to ponder how fast it went. Like most of the previous months and days, it wasnât anything I hoped and planned it to be. In some aspect, it was more than what I hoped for in which Iâam so grateful. However to my clinical requirements, its a totally different story.Â
Life lately (besides the depressing clinic scenarios) has been all about:
i. Keeping focus and inspiration at bay. Iâve learned about bullet journaling just recently and started doing it last Monday. I find it really helpful for someone like me who cannot keep my thoughts in order. Its quick, easy and hassle free. I definitely love it.
ii. Coffee, chocolates and icecream! Oh now that I think about it, it seems like not a week passed by this month that I havenât had my fix of either these three sinful temptation.Â
iii. Dinner and movie dates with E. Despite his demanding and toxic work he still manage to squeeze in dinner time with me making him adorbs even how annoying he gets.
iv. The Birth of baby Tris (as I like to call him instead of Thirdy). Tris is the adorable son of Otay, one of my bff. Heâs the frist baby in our circle of friends so we were really ecstatic upon seeing him.
v. Tukuran Adventure with some of my classmates. Finally, i was able to go with them on that trip. Though the reason for coming over was really saddening, still, it was one memorable event.
And thats about it, I hope you loves are all having a great long weekend!

On Motivation: Dealing with bad clinic days and mishap
After some time in clinical dentistry, itâs not always going to be sunshine and rainbows. Your plans will not work all the time. A patient will abruptly cancel appointment, you accidentally broke your master cast, Â your instructor wonât be around without prior notice, you run out of budget for the materials to be used in the next procedure, your case got rejected and a lot more issues which will probably take a toll in you.
You will feel disappointment, frustration and hatred all a t once. The disappointment and frustration towards your clinical skills and competence, not to mention some unwelcome circumstances that will come your way and the pressure to be able to finish your requirements on time. Â You will then start comparing your progress with your classmates and hate them for being better and leading in everything. You prolly know that this is not good but you canât help feeling this way. Youâll hate everyone and feel depressed in the process. Suddenly, you donât want to do clinic duties anymore. But hey, donât go in that path. Donât let the dark monster win. You have to fight back! Donât let it cease the fire within you. Â Â
Always find ways to feed the hunger to keep going and fighting. Thereâs more to remaking your plans to be able to make it happen. In every cancelled plan you learn something and youâre not the same anymore. The next time around, you know how to maximize your time when your instructor is around and value time even more, you appreciate punctual patient, you discover techniques to troubleshot minute problem that has great impact, youâd be extra careful in handling casts and you budget your materials so it wonât be wasted and can still be use in the following appointment. You see, you learn a little everyday and every step of the way. Just go keep reaching that goal no matter the situation.
You can grieve all you want for a moment, but always remember to spring back. Spring back and never look back. Reignite that burning passion within you, refresh your mind, reassemble your plan, always think of a brighter reason why such delays happen and lastly, encourage your classmates â uplift one another because youâre not alone in this journey. Itâs more fun to grow together than interpolate with one another.
Donât get discourage with a snail pace improvement. Small effort when added can make a big difference. Your plans may not work but always remember that He sees your effort and that His plan is always greater than yours. All you got to do is trust His work, word and promise. Surrender everything to Him for He will do the rest. So tell yourself to stop worrying and start praying, then do what you must in between.
âKEEP ON PUSHING FORWARD BECAUSE IT WILL FEEL SO GOOD WHEN YOU FINISH.â
My everyday beauty look doesnât consist much make-up but then some days I just want to look extra good. Thatâs when I feel like I can conquer whatever the universe toss on my doorstep. Yes sweetie, sometimes a dab of blush on does the trick.
Now in looking good, my go to beauty product has always been the company for women. It doesnât disappoint but it only gets better with their every new product plus itâs really price friendly. A lot of sale and discount is also happening each month. Whatâs not to love?
So, what are my top four Avon favorites? Here it goes.
My go-to lavish lashes (Super Shock Max Mascara) - I love wearing mascara even in normal days. I always like my eyes perky looking and this mascara does the job perfectly fine. Its weightless and it gives my lashes fifteen times more volume.
My glowing coverage (Ideal Luminous Liquid Foundation) - Considering the humid weather we have here in the Philippines, I donât really like putting anything than sunscreen and moisturizer on my face since I easily get real sweaty. It takes special days for me to take on a layer of foundation, and this one right here is my ultimate go-to. Its lightweight and it gives flawless smooth coverage to show off a natural and inner glow.
My super coral cheeks (Skin Goodness Minerals Blush) - As for extra glowing effect, I got this mineral blush that subtly adds healthy color with natural pigments. Really good for someone like me who is always sporting for a natural look.Â
My oil-control remedy (Ideal white pressed powder) - Too much oil on my face is just a plain no-no! So to be safe, I always have with me this compact. It helps fade dark spots and has a breathable texture in which I really admire. Â
And thats about it. How about you? Whatâs your Avon favorite? :)
Anything a change of scenery involve, you can pretty much count me in. So when two months ago, my college friends decided to go on a weekend trip somewhere in the north I didnât hesitate to come even with the loaded clinical requirements. Yes, it was a threat to my clinic schedule and even with my health considering all the activities weâve done but itâs a risk Iâm always willing to take. Â At the end, it was more than a trip. It was something hard to forget and heart-warming to look back.
I wouldnât want to spill all the details of our good time but what Iâll be talking here is one of the highlight of our trip which was the Capayas Island Exploration. So, here we go.
Two hours boat ride from the city point. It was where the adventure started.
We sailed even with the hot and humid weather all in the name of a good escapade. The journey was quite long but we were entertained by the inviting water and the sea creatures, not to mention our giddiness to see our destination. Â
Lopez Jaena is one of the peaceful provinces of Misamis Occidental, where lies the mystical and serene island called the Capayas (Papaya) Island. The islandâs pristine, clear blue waters that shimmer every time it is kissed by the sun will no doubt make you  stay even without a signal and much more a wifi connection.
Unlike the usual well developed islands with full amenities, this one speaks more of the most mundane. It only has cottages which are really affordable (100php rental fee) and a tree house. Also, if you donât want to rent a cottage you could just use their tables located everywhere in the island for free.
However, being the 90âs kids we werenât bothered with the lack of services. We still had a lot of fun. The moment we arrived, we enjoyed the view, took tons of photos after taking in the freshness of what we saw, went to the tree house, and played the famous chasing game in the water. Unfortunately we came in the wrong time since its low tide so we didnât really fully enjoyed swimming around the area.
The place is perfect for intimate moments with friends and love ones or for times when you just want to chill out and mind the beauty of nature that is refreshing to the mind, body and soul.
Hello tumblr friends! Howâs everyone doing? Iâve been away for too long and I can see alot of changes. Some are great and some are kinda saddening, but I guess that is just how we roll. Right? (:
Today, Iâm both terrified and excited to announce three things.
 (1) Iâve finally come to my senses, ended the suffering, and decided to end the long and overdue haitus. Wow! Didnât know it feels this good to finally let that out. (2) Along with my comeback is a new url, from engagewithlifee to theblushingspace. Why the sudden change? You might ask. Well, aside from the strong want and need of an over-all blog make-over, Iâve been too attached with the line that goes âIt gets better by change.â so I thought might as well apply it here. Lastly, (3) a fresh blog look after sometime. I used the Son Noir Theme of Izza and customized it to my liking. Itâs not yet fully finished tho, some minor editing here and there that Iâve been working on and hopefully finish before the week ends. Also, I would like to give a shout out to this beautiful lady who helped me fix some coding issues. Oh goodness, what am I gonna do without your helping hand Mich? *wink*   Â
In line with the changes thatâs been going on, this time around I would like to make it up and give time for blogging. The long break has given me quite a few ideas on what I really want to talk around here. That ideas compose of everything and anything that would help me be the best I could ever be. My self-discovery pursuit, adventure and misadventure that I would surely encounter along the way and how I handled it, the highs and lows of a senior dentistry student, and all the tiny details; from beauty to blogging down to my growing outdated magazine collection. Â Â
Now to make it shorter, this space would probably be about every little thing an aspiring grown-up woman of today. Â Â Â
'coz the best moments are always the unplanned ones.
One fine Wednesday night, after all the dull classes and the usual clinic duties. Christine, one of my girls randomly invited the gang to go somewhere. Since everyone was drained and have always wanted a little unwind. It was a very welcome idea.
Chosen Destination: Tangub City, dubbed as the Christmas Capital of the Philippines.
Its a two hours drive from our place. They have this annual month-long Christmas symbols festival, wherein the Cityâs landscape is spruced up for the season. Keeping up with this year's theme: "Chrismas Around the World, Part III." My top three bet miniautres were the Trevi Fountain, Gardens by the Bay, and the Legoland Billund. Â
Everything looks magical and spectacular because of the colorful chrismast lights plus the cold windy night, and of course the great company. There are also cafe around the place to grab something to eat while strolling around. However, our love for street food won over some fancy cafe.
All the walking and climbing on alot of stairs exhaust us but then its another mini adventure to cherish for. Yay!

Life in the city is very much different from the serene, relaxing and fresh air of the province. Â Â
Like the usual, we spent our semestral break at my grand mom's, particularly in Pan-ay, a barangay of the municipality Clarin in the province of Misamis Occidental. A place that is entirely close to my mom's heart. Well, we can't really blame her, that place is full of goodness and so much better than our well-favored complex of the city life. Now speaking of goodness, here are the cool things about being in the province, in bullets. Â
Beautiful sceneries - Â During our stay, I get to explore the place with my point and shot camera in hand and realized that you don't have to go to places just to look for beautiful things because they can be in humble places where other people see nothing. Of curse, you just have to broaden your point of view. *winks* (see photos above)
Breath of fresh air - like literally. The cool air isn't only refreshing, it has also this warm and calming feels.
Fresh veggies and fruits - Grand mom got a veggie garden in the backyard, she has a green thumb just like mom and is restless about gardening. She even manage to plant chili pickles in that good old shoes. (see photos above)
Unlimited seafood - Since my lola is an avid buyer of seafoods, every morning different vendors would drop by her house to sell different kinds of known and eatable sea creatures. Now who wouldn't want that fresh shrimp and crab for breakfast?Â
Flowers everywhere - I love how there are a lot of colorful flowers in the road.
Thats all for now and thank you for reading loves! Keep your eyes open for beautiful things around you! âĽ
When was the last time that you actually engage in something that doesn't speak of pressure? Something that you've been craving to do but lack time? Well, as for me, I've been dying to blab about all the beautiful things and experiences that I had for the last good couple of months, but time and circumstances are always not in my favor. So, here I'am feeling very much indebted to my blogary for not keeping the love alive. Oh well, fret no more because today isn't one of those unfavorable days.Â
Happy thoughts lately:Â
The joy of being able to live out of your comfort zone, lively, is like finding a lot of grapes on your ordinary fruit salad. Its refreshing and kind of challenging in a way. The refreshing kind of challenge, the kind youâd always want to seek.
There are actually lessons in losing yourself to the things that makes you alive, aside from that burning joy feels.
Why compete with something or someone that you know you canât be? When the world is full of possibilities, gazillion of possibilities and ideas for that matter, to be the perfectly (well, maybe not perfect but close to perfect) unique someone that youâve always want to be.Â
Picturesque sceneries are everywhere waiting to be discovered. All you need is the courage to look around and the eyes that knows timeless beauty.
You can be exactly the person you want to be, so long as you put your whole mind and heart to it. And well, in my case, someone who knows my capabilities, someone that'll push me through my limits.âĽ
Thats all for mean time and thank you for reading! Tell me about your happy thoughts and lets keep in touch! :)
