June 18, 2026

This month, my mom, sister, and I finally had our staycation together. 🤍

We actually planned this trip for almost three months because we wanted to visit the famous Rose Garden. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that it wasn't located in MOA. 😭 We only found out when we got there, and by then it was already too late because we still needed to buy cakes for the content we were planning to make. Hahaha.

Even though our original plan didn't work out, we still enjoyed our little getaway.

We only stayed for one night, but it was enough to relax and spend quality time together. We slept late, around 12 AM, but I suddenly woke up at 5 AM to check our home CCTV.

I ended up waking Mama and my sister because I was panicking. 😭

I saw Golden's paw get tangled in a wire, and I got scared that he might get hurt or even get electrocuted. I kept calling his name while checking the camera, which of course disturbed everyone's sleep. Hahaha.

After that little morning panic, we had breakfast together while watching Kingdom, a Korean series on Netflix.

We also headed home earlier than planned because we already missed our pets so much. No matter how nice it is to travel, there's always a part of us that wants to go back home to them.

Oh, and here's the biggest plot twist of the trip…

We discovered that Golden is actually a BOY. 😭😂

For the longest time, we thought Golden was a girl. Now everything makes sense why he's such a playful and naughty baby. He's our baby boy after all!

Even though it was a short staycation, I'm grateful for the memories, the laughs, and the time spent with my mom and sister.

We're already planning another staycation later this year, this time in Venice Grand Canal, McKinley.

Moments like these don't happen often, so I'm thankful whenever we get the chance to go out together, take lots of photos, and create memories as a family.

June 12, 2026

Today was my day off, and luckily, it also happened to be Philippine Independence Day. 🇵🇭 Nothing beats having a holiday and not having to think about work for a day.

Since my parents and sister will be attending a wedding later this month, we decided to spend the day at SM Southmall to look for clothes. Papa was the real winner of today's shopping trip because he managed to find a new shirt and a pair of pants. He looked so happy carrying his shopping bag around. 😂

Mama, on the other hand, wasn't as lucky. She spent time looking for shoes, but unfortunately, her size wasn't available anywhere we checked. Maybe next time, Mama!

Of course, no family outing is complete without food. We ended up having lunch at Mang Inasal, which is always a good idea. And because I apparently have a special talent for buying bread every time I leave the house, I came home with another bag of my latest obsession—ensaymada with cheese and pineapple. 🤤

Seriously, if you love soft bread, creamy cheese, and sweet pineapple, I highly recommend trying it. I told myself I wouldn't buy any snacks today, but somehow I still ended up carrying a bag of bread home. Some habits never change.

The weather was unbelievably hot. The kind of hot that makes you question every life decision that brought you outside. ☀️😂 So after shopping and eating, we decided to head home early and hide from the sun.

The rest of the day was spent doing one of my favorite things—watching K-dramas.

We continued watching Salmokji and started another drama on Netflix called Teach You a Lesson. The story is fictional, but honestly, there were moments that made me wish some characters like that existed in real life. 😂

Watching it also made me think about how different generations are raised. Growing up in an Asian household, discipline was definitely not a foreign concept. Let's just say many of us learned life lessons the traditional way. 😅 As I get older, I find it interesting to see the different parenting styles people talk about today and compare them with the experiences we had growing up.

Before I knew it, the day was over.

Honestly, nothing extraordinary happened today. No big adventures, no dramatic life updates, and no exciting travel stories. Just a simple day spent with family, good food, good dramas, and a chance to slow down for a while.

And sometimes, those ordinary days end up being the most comforting ones.

Now I'm looking forward to next week because my mom, my sister, and I are finally having our staycation. After months of work stress and busy schedules, a girls' getaway sounds exactly like what we need. Until next time. 🤍

May 28, 2027 Today was another catch-up day with my friend. 😂 I visited my friend in BGC today because she'll be moving to another company soon. She has been really stressed at work lately, so we decided to meet up and spend some time together. I went straight there after work. It was raining, but thankfully it wasn't too heavy by the time I arrived. We went to Mitsukoshi Mall and had a Japanese dinner. I also told her that I was craving matcha, and luckily we found Warabimochi Kamakura. Although their drinks are quite expensive—the small size costs around ₱260—they were actually worth it because the drinks were delicious.

We spent hours chatting and catching up. I also stayed overnight at her place. Later, we bought Melona ice cream from a Korean grocery store. I chose the taro flavor because it's currently a popular flavor in Korea.

I also brought some bread with me. There's a cheese bread from Casa Elmira that I really love. Sadly, it has become more expensive because of inflation. A pack used to cost ₱90, but now it's ₱120. Still, I think it's worth every peso because it tastes so good.

We were actually planning to visit Fusion Alley in Manila, but we ended up canceling because of the rain. There are a lot of street food vendors there, and it's been getting popular on social media lately. I've been wanting to try it for a while now, so hopefully next time.

I truly hope that this new chapter in my friend's career brings her more happiness and less stress. She even told me, "I'll let you know if my new company is good because I might convince you to transfer there too." 😂 Her new job is work-from-home, which sounds amazing, so I'm hoping everything works out well for her.

I also went home early because I needed to accompany my mom the next morning to buy clothes for a wedding she'll be attending this June. My sister also treated us to Lola Nena's Toasted Siopao, and we bought some drinks and pancit as well. It was such a hot day, so the cold drinks were definitely appreciated.

This month is ending soon. Although I didn't have many exciting adventures and spent most of my time busy and stressed from work, I'm still grateful for the small moments that allowed me to slow down and reconnect with the people I care about.

Hopefully, after this month, the next pages of my life will be brighter and filled with better memories. See you again soon. 🤍

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I opened this Tumblr again. 🤍

I honestly got lazy to write this month because nothing much has really been happening lately, and at the same time, I just haven’t been in the mood these past few days because of stressful things happening at work.

I was so stressed to the point that I even wrote my resignation letter and started submitting my resume to other companies. Some of them even followed up with interview invitations already. 😭

But thankfully, things are okay again now. It’s back to the usual kind of stress — not the super toxic office stress anymore — so I decided to stay for now.

I know… kinda funny, right? Hahaha.

That’s also why I haven’t had many life updates lately, aside from our plan tomorrow to surprise our friend who’s getting married this June. I’ll definitely update you guys about that soon. 🥹

I’ve been hooked on this Korean drama, Goldland, on Disney+. I highly recommend it! Even though I was already stressed from work, this drama managed to stress me out even more because of the villain. 😭 But honestly, it’s really worth watching

Also, a random cat suddenly showed up at our house the other day. For a moment, I really thought we were about to adopt it, but then the owner came looking for it, so my mom returned the cat. 😭

We still don’t have a cat at home, but maybe someday we will. Maybe next time. 🐈🤍

At the end of the month, I’ll also be visiting my friend because both of us have been really stressed lately. We just want to catch up, rest a little, and talk about everything happening in our lives.

Anyway, I’ll try to post more updates about myself here again since this Tumblr has basically become my online diary at this point. 🤍✨
