Just an FYI, all Evershine posted online violates the NDA. As far as I know, the only place it can be posted on is Pathea's official discord or by Pathea themselves
The screenshot I posted was from a Project Me vid on Youtube from 2 years ago?
From the PROJECT ME vid...
GOVERNOR Madeline?
Now I think I remember hearing they changed Tia's and Hua's personalities from Project Me, but maybe they also changed Madeline?
Without going into too much detail, if you were one of the few to play Project ME, you've already dipped your toes into Evershine.
My Time at Evershine is Project ME re-worked into a proper game (as opposed to a dinky mobile game).
I'm not saying this is a bad thing. Not at all. I'm just pointing out that some of us have technically already played a beta (alpha?) long before this current playtest.
If anyone's curious, I found this playthrough of what was the original plan for Evershine, a mobile game called Project Me.

My Time at Evershine
I guess they're reworking Project ME into a more PC/Console friendly version. (This does kind of make it feel like everyone who was given access to Project ME were just unpaid beta testers but...I won't dwell on that too much)
I played Project ME on and off (at least until it stopped working on my device) but I just couldn't fully get into it what with it being a mobile game and all (and unavailable to emulate on Nox). So I am looking forward this as the third My Time game.
I do still have...concerns...though. I'll just put them under a cut if you're interested but be warned: Long winded and probably poorly articulated rambling ahead. TL;DR: Not loving the art style and I'm a bit pessimistic about certain game mechanics.
Hey I'm not sure if you know but the AI thing with evershine was a comment made by a developer who actually isn't on the art team? One of the art team leads has since responded in depth on their discord and on Reddit.
There's more info on the discord, also posted to the reddit. They are categorically against the use of AI and have not used it in the prototyping process at all. They do admit to using it for texture work (wrinkles, hair textures), but that seems far closer to old noise map generators. They actually posted a timelapse process with the different versions of the poster from start to finish.
Not blaming you for taking the initial statement at face value! It did come from someone directly on the dev team. But it was a rushed response from someone not in the relevant department who wasn't fully familiar with the process.
Roger that, the evidence I saw seemed damning, but I've been getting most of my info second-hand at this point so I'll go check that stuff out for myself, thanks for the heads-up
