With cold weather approaching and the pandemic still raging on, I’ve been thinking a lot about the things I miss and what I wish I could stockpile. I’ve been working on a project to capture that feeling, making paper mache canned and boxed goods to illustrate what I’d be stocking my cupboards with if I could. Here’s the first batch!

One of my favorite things about doing zoo work was all the noises you never realize the animals make when they’re excited or interested in a new thing. Coatimundis squeak and snuffle, and giant porcupines make that sound. 

Holding a boundary isn’t all candy canes and lollipops. Boundaries are often met with hostility. Stop explaining. Prepare to be misunderstood, gaslit and villainized. Stay grounded in what’s best for you and hold your boundary anyway. #confidence #selfesteem #boundaries
