THE ANTS BE MARCHING

Don't celebrate forth of July. Don't buy any fourth of July themed food. Don't go to fourth of July events or watch them on tv. Don't buy or light fireworks.

I've stopped celebrating for years now. I can't be proud of a country I have no pride in with how terrible things are becoming. Especially with a rapist felon in charge of it.

It sucks because I want to celebrate this country but why should I when so many people's rights are being stripped and rightful citizens being forced out of their homes.

I can't even look at the American flag without assuming the one waving it as a neo-Nazi that would rather have me killed then have me simply exist as a human being.

So I'm saying this now in hopes people will speak with their wallets and spread the word. Make our voices heard that we are not in fact proud to be Americans at this point.

Everyone I've talked too at this point has said they are embarrassed and ashamed to be an American now.

TIME TO DELETE DUOLINGO.

They really deadass said "fuck humans we want more money but will pretend it's about just repetitive tasks while literally stating it will filter humans out of hiring and have it assume how good you are at your job."

Quiet quit immediately. None of these companies deserve more labor than your wage. Especially when managers are not tied to the same rules you are to follow.

It is not worth the pain of standing for eight hours straight and pretending to be nice to customers when you are constantly sore and unable to be comfortable even after your shift.

It is not worth the stress of never having a consistent schedule or trustworthy medium when they don't even respect the employment offer of hours and over schedule constantly due to being short staffed.

Only do what you are asked to do. Don't go out of your way to impress anyone because it will not be rewarded or even acknowledged appropriately. Thank you is not enough.

Don't expect management to genuinely care about you because they will only give you a pity party about how they are salaried and are never on the clock and apparently not paid for over time or skip lunch etc. That's a them problem not yours.

Know that the job is soul sucking and will make you bitter and easily irritable all the time and can strain relationships with friends and family because you can't contain the pain. You will never be able to enjoy days off because you'll be too exhausted to do anything you have a passion for or interest in without strain.

Realize that no matter how much you make it's still not enough or just barely enough to pay rent for an apartment but not groceries, gas, or other needs.
