It's funny because I continue to get "wow you've lost weight, you look great, what did you do" comments and I've run out of things to tell them except "I had a misbehaving gallbladder that I said was my gallbladder and zero doctors would believe me until I kept coming back to the ER for the same thing for about a year" and "because of my misbehaving gallbladder I cut all fats and excess sugars out of my diet and have been eating protein and fiber and little else for a year" and "immediately after gallbladder removal I lost an additional 15lbs and continue to lose weight despite slowly adding fats and sugars back into my diet".
PLUS I had top surgery so I no longer have to wear a binder so it's way easier for me to exercise again, PLUS now that my gallbladder has been evicted my stomach no longer hurts 24/7/365 with 7/10 pain. So I'm back to being up and about and moving again.
PLUS PLUS I'm on testosterone so I build muscle easier when I exercise AND it fixed my heart problem basically overnight so not only am I physically capable of more exercise but also my fucked up knee hurts significantly less than it used to so I can actually afford to, you know, hike and shit on good days.
So I guess what I need to start telling people my weight loss secret is "remove your gallbladder and consider gender transition".
