I hardly use this

I feel like autism isn’t treated on Vulcan the way it is—or was—on Earth. Like they recognize it’s a condition that has no and needs no cure, just accommodations. And it’d be illogical to leave behind a % of their population for something that can’t be controlled that way.

I like to think that autism would actually be valued on Vulcan.

Autism causes people to think so much differently than neurotypicals that I feel like on Vulcan autists wouldn’t be seen as a hinderance but instead people who fill in the blanks that the rest of the population can’t.

I think they’d just see the benefits of it more than any downsides it’d cause.

(while this isn’t seen in everyone with autism) the better observation skills? the for-the-better abnormal pattern recognition? better memory retention? generally creative thinking? there’s no way they can just let all that go to waste over prejudices.

u can’t tell me a hyperfixated Vulcan wouldn’t be the ultimate academic weapon.

But I also have a weakness for like, Vulcans seeing a Human being really distressed because they have something that terrifies them happening, like a spider or a species that resembles spiders but really fucking large crawling on them, but the Human is obviously trying to calm themselves down and relax

Meanwhile there’s another Human next to them, making things worse, like saying stuff like “oh god what if it lays eggs on you” (not even in a cruel way, just in the unhelpful way people are like sometimes), and undoing the work the previous Human was doing to calm themselves

And the Vulcans just. snap a tiny bit, like a tiny “cease speaking.” a little more clipped than usual as they go to help the distressed Human

on that point: vulcans' needs during pon farr being less about specifically fucking and more about BONDING. like yes obviously sex is part of it but the reason just jacking off doesn't work is because they need to BOND. they need assurance that their clanmate is Safe and Here and Close. so, I present to you:

- vulcans that get really anxious about food and water before and during pon farr

- vulcans that get frankly weirdly obsessed with smell and scenting

- vulcans during pon farr being jumpy and frankly anxious. when your vulcan partner comes up to you like 'would you consider it logical to consider the possibility of you abandoning our bond if I was to, for some reason, become a worm-like creature. although the possibility of such a thing occurring is vanishingly small, I am nevertheless considering how detrimental to my control and wellbeing it would be. so, would you please share with me your reasoning and supposed response to this hypothetical event' you know damn well they are like 2 days away

They absolutely freak out every time their human partner is on their periods. Elf women do get periods but they’re not as often, heavy or painful.

Even if your periods aren’t that painful or heavy, the slightest mention of fatigue, blood, cramp or nausea and they are carrying you back to bed. Good luck doing absolutely anything because they won’t let you.

Carries you to bed and returns like 5 minutes later with every blanket, heat pack, tea and sweet they can find.

Said hobbit women have now filled many elven villages with new hairstyles and bellies full of baked goods. The elf and hobbit wives get along well and their laughter sounds magically through out the land.

Lindir has never seen such dancing to his music, but he adores the joy on their sweet faces.

Haldir is surprised by how frightful the small women can be, but pleased with how they manage to rein in his brothers.

Galadriel has started a little tea party ‘club’ if you will and they are an ideal ‘ladies day’ event.

Elrond is amazed by how knowledgeable these seemingly ‘simple’ hobbits are about healing and medicine. He’s not sure how well ‘kissing it better’ helps his warriors but it seems to do no harm, and brings a smile to their stoic faces.

Legolas is used to hobbits and is happy to have new joyful friends around.

Description: ivars “little princess’ wants to train so you help her out

you and ivar had 3 children together now. Uhtred age 10 and the twins Finan and Iselut age 7, and another one on to be born very soon. (or so the healers say.)

You were beginning to think that ivar was going to get you with child as many times as possible, just to prove he could.

Ivar took up training the boys, they were natural fighters already, they were skilled in there own ways just like him, but they just needed some tutoring to rein in there stubbornness and there egos that caused them to think they were better than each other.

every time they would train, iseult would sit close by, aimlessly picking at the threads and the seams of her dress or trying to build the confidence to ask to join. She didn’t know why she was frightened. She was her father ‘little princess’ who could do wrong, any harm done to her ivar would chuck the culprits into the water and hold their heads down until the bubbles stoped and then offer there corpse to the gods.

But in truth she was scared her brothers were going to embarrass her or she was going to embarrass herself infront of them.

you were a shield maiden for most of your life before you married ivar and you were a darn good fighter as well, you only stoped fighting when you got pregnant and ivar wanted to keep you safe. And iseult looked up to you.

you watched the boys train occasionally when you were bored of being confined to your chambers and you tried not to snicker as the boys fell sometimes, then your eye caught iseult, she was always sitting on on top of a barrel in the yard anxiously picking at the seams of her dress as she kept looking over to ivar and her brothers.

it broke your heart at her being nervous to ask to join, she was a good girl, shy, sweet but she had a temper like ivar and the rest of her family. she was just nervous and you wished ivar would notice that.

One day you had enough and walked over to her. “You know. If you want to join just ask them” you told her, making her jump.

“I-I can’t ask them, uhtred said I’m to small and won’t even be able to hold anything.” she pouted softly and glanced over to the pile of weapons in the yard.

“Uhtred also thinks he will grow up to marry a Valkyrie” you said matter of factly and iseult giggled. “Besides who said anything about a heavy weapon?” You asked her and she looked at you confused

You looked around and found a small bow and arrow on the table, you picked it up and gestured her to jump down.

She hopped down and you handed her the bow and slotted in the arrow for her. “Ok keep your hand here…and draw back to your cheek” you instructed and she did as you said.

You helped her position and aimed it at the barrel that was in the direction off ivar and the boys. “Ok…when You’re ready ok” you told her and she nodded nervously before letting go.

The arrow file past the ivar and the boys. Almost catching finan on the cheek as it hit the barrel.

And all the 3 boys turned to look at her and ivar let out a suprised laugh
