(A little quick poem by me)
Theres something about kissing someone for the first and final time.
The feeling of his hand on the back of your neck pulling you in
Soft lips framed between his snake bites
Your eyes are open but his are closed
He is confident in his decision before you even realize it's an option.
The image of her sitting on your bed
Your hands on her hips waiting for permission
It is you slowly leaning in, to press a kiss on her lips and her deepening it
Kissing you so newly, like you've never been kissed before,
You will never be kissed like this again.
He will wrap his arms around your waist and she will cup you face
There between the two of them, you think you are loved.
Despite however many men you kiss, women you cherish, people you love
You never get the formula right,
Catching yourself between two people who love eachother so deeply
Begging to be loved the same.
But between these couples you are drawn to
You are a wine tasting, a deep red swirled around a glass and gently placed on the lips
You are patted are from their mouth, the rest of you left on the table.
You will never been kissed like that again.
After tonight you are a faint memory on their mind and they are forever on yours
But you have too many forevers now
A random college night, people much to old for you to realize, too many drinks lying between a couple, or maybe even the people you foolishly called your first love.
Every person you kiss, might be the one, so you cherish each first.
Kiss them gently, smoothly, kindly, and when you do, you love them.
Cause maybe one day, someone will want a full glass of wine.
