My April 2026 Japanese toy haul finally got here. I'm super happy with all these toys, despite Sephiroth's plushie being exactly like a pevious version, except for the minimal details that make him a (KH) Another From version…. DX I like the Eren plush as well, but his face is a bit depressing looking. I wish they stuck with the anime brows, instead of the brows they give him all the time on figures and plushies. Oh well. I am glad I got the latest released Sasuke Grandista, I am not sure yet i I'll get a second one, as sh1rtless Sasuke is not something I want in my collection, more so pre-teen Sasuke, but we'll see.

I got these back in mid-May, due to my 45th b-day (like I need any excuse in the world to hoard toys!). They didn't ship until just a few days ago and got here yesterday from Amnz. I don't know why they are taking so long to ship things out now. It's a pain in the lower back.

I didn't get the Eternal Night Scar doll I was hoping to get, but I am crossing my fingers I can get a chance to get him in my next two pulls. If Amzn doesn't pull a fast one on me, like they seem to enjoy doing all the time. Unfortunately, it seems the one doll I would have preferred, is the one everyone and their mothers would prefer as well. So, it's probably a slim chance, despite it not being the rare one. Alastor is beautiful, he has complete heterochromia (his eyes are completely different colors, as opposed to partially one color, etc..) I like his outfit, but I don't love the shape of his coat making it look like a dress. I prefer sleeker looking coats/long-shirts. He comes with a bowler/derby hat, that I haven't seen in any of the promos, but it's pretty neat that he has that as well.

Took a few better lighted photos of my TopToy x Sure Fun Forest Kingdom Nommi doll. I also went and took close ups of her three different irises, in the second to last photo. The 1st are the default ones, where the moon appears to be a cat-shape, then the middle ones are fully dilated pupils, like a cat! The last ones are my favorite, what appear to be a starry night sky. The kitty hat does have embroidered eyes, and nose. Which are a pain to photograph, due to the fluffy faux fur. I was able to get a shot of one of the eyes, but not the other and the nose is barely visible, but it is there. I didn't feel like removing her pigtails, so I left the hat on for these.

She is obviously, very top heavy so she needs a stand for sure. I had to use her clamshell packaging to hold her up, leaning against the background. She might be able to balance on her own, but I wouldn't trust mine without a stand. I forgot to take photos of her next to my Jazzwares Hello Kitty and Kuromi fashion dolls. I feel like they might have similar proportions. Maybe their clothes would fit on Nommi. Maybe next time. I am for sure looking into getting another one. These dolls are just so beautiful. I wish they had more articulation. Particularly at the knees and elbows.

I hope these don't get sent to the dark side... Here are few photos of my unboxed Megahouse G.E.M. Series NARUTO Shippuden Palm Size (Tenohira) non-scale Sasuke Uchiha figure. He is a gorgoes figure. However, I wish his whole outfit was on him, as I have said before. This is my favorite outfit he wears in Shippuden, but it seems not that many people favor it. So, there are not that many figues of his, fully wearing it properly. He is mssing a shoe, for some reason. I love his glare, I feel that is a thousand percent "Sasuke." I don't really understand the concept of the figure otherwise. I own other Palm Size figures, of Giyu Tomioka and Shoto Todoroki. They are fully dressed, and sitting in a non-questionable-relaxed-pose. This one, I kind of don't get. He comes with a black stand/base, but I didn't use it for these.

I am glad I purchased (two) it anyway, as I am an obessive Sasuke Uchiha fangirl, and I appreciate owning a variety of figures based on him. Even ones that are exaclty the same, but with different paint apps, or even less than that. DX

I took a few photos of two of my recent Japanese toy haul figures, that I purchased doubles of, to unbox one. First, I'll share my Grandista Ken Kaneki's photos. I love Kaneki for many, many reasons. One of those is because he is such a dark character, not only in theme of the actual story of his character. More importantly (for me), he is very dark aesthetically, and I just love him to bit for it.

I was hoping they would make a Grandista version, although there didn't seem to be any reason for them to make one. They actually did! When they announced the Nendoroid, I was so excited, I thought maybe they'll actually make a Grandista. So, lo and behold, I got my wish without even having much hope of it happening, ever! Lol!

These are game (crane) prize figures, so the paint apps are not perfect. However, I love the size and the cost of these. I can also use this one as a reference, for my MYou Bettina male, that I am trying to force to be my custom Ken Kaneki doll. Despite Bettina being so off, from looking anything like Kaneki. Particularly, if I say I am trying to go for the anime proportions as my main reference. Which are not as lanky looking as this figure. Kaneki is not a tall character (5, 6" at the most), but I feel in the anime he doesn't look as short/petite as he does in the manga.

I actually feel like the Kaneki manga version looks a bit weirdly proportioned, while in the anime he looks a lot more realistic and idealized, if I think about proportions, I personally find appealing. The manga art is beautiful, but the proportions are a bit weird to me. This figure is so beautiful in my fangirl eyes, flaws and all. I would only wish that it had a second head sculpt, or an optional version without his ghoul mask on. I love Ken's face, so it's a bit sad that most of his figures only come with the mask version, and rarely without the mask. And if they do feature both, the non-masked version is always an exclusive I can't get for some reason. DX

I got a TopToy x Sure Fun Nommi doll, from the Forest Kingdom series. I got her a few months ago. Maybe a bit over a month, but it feels like forever ago. The seller was the first, if not the only one to have them on Amzn when I ordered her, so she was sent from China. She was mostly stuck in transit forever, in back there for most of the trip. It didn't take long once she was in the USA, for her to finally be delivered to me. It was a huge pain in the gut, nonetheless. I ordered her a few days or weeks before my UV lamp, and that was here so long ago, that I almost forgot that I had purchased it before Nommi, until I decided to work on my Miniver Sneakers.

I'll move on from the complaining now. I've always been tempted to get a Nommi plush, but I am trying to not hoard mystery boxed plushies as well. Since TopToy is collabing with so many anime licenses nowadays. One of those Naruto, which means more Sasuke things I need to purchase, whether I want to or not... *sigh*

When I saw these listed on Amnz I had to get one, at the very least! They are super adorable. The only complain on mine is that the part-line on the lips was painted way lower than the actual sculpted lip-partline. I am not sure if that was a factory mistake, or how all of them were painted/air-brushed/stamped. Regardless, I am super happy I got her. She's super heavy for her size, and I only wish she was bigger! Lol!

I don't know why I love these hyper-stylized chunky baby-esque dolls, but I do. My fav were the Hani Sweet Dreams series by CYToys, but these Nommi are slightly bigger and so much heavier! I feel these might win for me. I might try getting a second one, even if it means a possible double. I got the curly-tail kitty this pull, and I love her so much. Her elbows, hands and knees are blushed, which is pretty neat, as well. Her eyes move/rotate to reveal three different iris chips like the larger plushies, I don't know if the smaller ones also have that feature. I didn't want to touch her eyes with my oily-fingers (as an art nerd, I rarely if ever touch my precious plastic toys with barehands. Human oils are not archival safe. Lol!).

Here are a few photos I took of my Hujoo Sleepy Wings, before I repaint him, for the third time (if memory serves). I am thinking about remaking his wig as well. I named him Coconut, after a faux-fur wig I got for him originally. I thought it was the cutest color in the world and reminded me of my favorite toasted coconut flavor. So, I named him that, Coco for short.

He probably needs new elastic. That's the second shirt I made for him, and the single pair of shorts I ever made him. I need to sew more often for all my dolls in general. I suck at it, but I mostly own dolls no one loves, so it's kind of a pain finding clothes (and shoes) that fit. Lol!

He was made by a Korean brand named Hujoo, that seemed to have just disspeared out of nowhere. I recall pestering the Junky Spot for them to carry Hujoo. After a while, they finally brought them in, states side. I always wanted an opened eyed Wings, but by the time I got mine, they had the Sleepy-eyed version, and I am a sucker for narrow eye shapes in dolls! I thought I could always get a regular opned-eyed Wings later... DX

That was a huge mistake. Hujoo kept delaying releasing more of them, after selling out and even having tanned versions. They kept saying to wait a while, but the waiting never stopped (kind of like Latidoll, when I kept asking about SP Laches, a while ago). I also regret never getting their OG Hujoo female, which was their namesake doll, that I stumbled upon and was the reason I bothered JS, to bring them as a retailer. Oh well, I can't go back in time now, can I? These were made out of ABS, but are fully strung. I need to either restring mine, or purchase new elastic for him. He's super floppy. I recall someone on DoA having serious trouble getting elastic for their Hujoo doll, I can't recall which sculpt exactly, but I can't say I am looking forward to finding out how hard it's going to be for me to find some. Living in a touristy town, with all stores closing left and right. T___T;;

I'm trying to work on a few different projects at the same time. Or at least start working, on a few different projects. I am hoping to be able to repaint and work on my Hujoo Wings soon. So, I took some photos of him, and my repainted and rebodied MGA Novi Stars Una Verse. Whom I love dearly! I had forgotten how much I love Una! She was the first Novi Stars doll I purchased. I can't recall if she was the first ever MGA doll I ever owned, but more likely than not, she was.

Of course, I own two of her. That's the only way I feel comfortable modifying most mass-produced fashion dolls... I rebodied her soon after I got a second one to unbox, onto a Monster High body. I always thought it made more sense, based on their OG artwork. Ideally, I wanted her on the Monster High Create A Monster Ice Girl body, but I was sadly never able to get that kit. I got a few of the other ones, but not that specific one. So, I settled for one of Abbey's. Which, I don't hate, but it is too pale, in comparison to Una's slightly darker blue plastic.

I am not planning on repainting her, ever again! I am not saying this is my magnus opus, but removing her eyes was a huge pain in the lower back. It was the one time I did it without cutting into the plastic, and I never plan on doing that again. I've never successfully masked acrylic eyes, on dolls with inset eyes (for removing factory paint). So, I rather her say this way forever. I just want to give her a nice dress and maybe nicer hair. I don't completely dislike her factory hair; I just don't like the texture or volume. I was able to make it softer by washing, then heat straightening it with a flat iron. Finally using a dryer sheet. However, it is still so puffy. I want it to be sleek and longer. Making a wig would be the only option however, but I am not sure I want to do that, since I do enjoy how the hair looks minus the bulk. It's something I'll have to think about very carefully, since I can't actually get another Una, without paying so much more than I am willing to.

She is borrowing my IMC Toys VIP Hair Makeover Megan's dress in most of these. I want to try making a similar dress for her. I don't know what the name of the fabric of Mega's dress is called -- they closed down all JoAnn's Fabric stores, if I am not mistaken. They at least closed the one nearest to me, so finding fabric locally will be a pain in the gut hole. Una's OG dress is metallic silver, with a ballon blue tule skirt. I don't know I can recreate that, but I would like something in the same vein. As well as some similar shoes, or at the very least some black maryjanes. Which I doubt MH has (or that they wouldn't be expensive to acquire), without too much sculptural detail.

My March 2026 toy haul is finally here. Just the GEM Sasuke and Char Aznable figures were released in March. Ken Kaneki was released last year in August, and the Sasuke prize figure was released in September 2025, which is a double for me so I can unbox this one.

I'm super happy with my Kaneki Nendos! I thought I had missed out on getting a single one, but luckily, I was still able to get two! I am also super happy I was able to get the solo Sasuke sticker sheet. I got the group one when that released last October, so I was super lucky this was still in stock. I missed out on the Sasuke x Sakura one, sadly. For some strange reason, I thought I had pre-ordered this one, but I didn't? So weird... I was able to get it in the end, so I am glad I at least got a chance to get this one (would have been ecstatic to get the other one as well).

I finally got around to making my MGA Mini Verse Make It Mini Sneakers; Doodle Crew Red and Kawaii Pink shoes. I got these to see if they would work on my MYou Bettina male, mature tiny BJD (28cm in heigth, representing a 19-year-old college student).

They work rather well. I f-ed up on the soles. Which is the one job one has, for this build. The other parts are threading the laces and sticking the stickers. Which, I don't hate, but they are stickers! I like the ones that look like fabric on the Doodle Crew Red ones, because they stick so well. The others were my favorite, despite not loving pink shoes, because of how puffy they are. However, they are already starting to peel, all by themselves. *sigh*

I guess I can always try regluing those, as they start to age badly. The Doodle Crew stickers, I fear might age worse. Because it seems like an actual fabric piece, that is starting to fray at the edges. It might be user error, but both my soles ended up being lopsided. As much as I tried to keep both shoe tops leveled, they ended up super skewed on any side! I also can't say why I thought these were UV resin, but they are two-part gel soles. So, I just waited to get an UV light, for basically no reason. I can use it with my other MIM kits, but I had no reason to hold making these. I feel like I wasted so much time for nothing.

I keep forgetting to add photos of my Funko Pop, Bitty Pop Naruto Shippuden set, that I got from Amzn, back in January of this year (2026). I like to keep my collection "organized" somehow, by adding photos of the toys I own, on here (or other social media places), for quick access. My memory sucks, so I have to keep a database of sorts. This way is easier for me, to check if I already purchased something or not. More so, because I like purchasing doubles of things, but not triples or quadruples. Unless they are customizable, or kitbashing parts.

A few repetitive photos of my Shibajuku Anime doll Akira. Unboxed, before I repaint her. I love her dress in photos and in box, but it feels like paper. I am tempted to remake it, but having zero sewing skills, I don't know how well that would go. I don't know that I can recreate the puffy sleeves. I would have to unassembled the dress, create a pattern from it, and repurpose the lace parts. I don't feel that would go very well for me. I have zero sewing skills. T__T;;

I am going to be repainting her, so I took some photos of her factory paint apps before I do. Her left eye's upper lashes were severely misprinted. Probably not that easy to see, due to the applied eyelashes, but it was printed/screened too far up, so there's a good chunk missing at the lash line. I find her cute regardless. That's why I got two; I just really wanted to paint one of these Shibajuku dolls for a long time. Now I can. (:

I got Past in Sicily Lorenzo, or Hanging Card, I have found varying names for him. The back of his box says, "Sicilian Hanging Card," as his name, but I have found other variations online as well. The company's name is also translated differently, like some have it as "Heartbeat Moment," but the G00gle translation for it from the back of the box's Chinese characters is "Palpitations Instant." Regardless, I am happy I got the blonde version. I know the dark-haried one is super rare and over 300USD on most second marketplaces, but I prefer my closed eyed faceplates to be optional, and not the main face.

If I am able to, I want to get a few of the optional faceplates for him, they seem to be pretty rare as well, and I am not sure how exactly one was supposed to get those. I'm trying to slow down my hoarding of mystery boxed dolls, yet here we are. DX

I want to take "better" photos of his box and face, but my older phone that takes "nicer" photos is old, and its battery is dying. I need to keep charging or it dies. The box is gorgeous, it has foil all around and a removable sleeve, but I want to keep the protective plastic film, so I am torn on whether to just not take photos of the box without the plastic, or regret taking it off. I keep all my dolls' boxes, as the hoarder that I am. So, keeping the plastic for protection would be better for me in the long run!

I got Takara Tommy Kata Zun L gashapon, to hang with Light. Of course, I would need to get L, I love Light, but I always seem to need L to go with him. I try to get at least one of each, if there is one of each. The only exception so far is the ABYstyle Light, because he looks so weird to me. He's not even in-scale with their L, which I did get when that one was released. I thought L looked great, but Light... *sigh* I don't know why most Western toy producers seem to do Light dirty. I guess nobody really likes Light besides me... Lol! DX

I got my two Square Enix Final Fantasy Series Pixelight Neo FFRK Sephiroth decore lights. I am super happy with both, but kind of seriously question myself, when I chose to ship these two by themselves. They are the tiniest little lights in history, and I paid more than 70USD for shipping, which is severely more than the cost of both -- the shipping box was huge by comparison. Yet, so tiny for the cost! DX I am happy with both regardless.

I also got Hunter Products Shibajuku Kiki and Akira fashion dolls. I got two of Akira, because I love her dress. I wish she had the dark black hair. As I have mentioned when I repainted my Decora Fashion Girlz Luna, there's not a lot of mass-produced dolls with pale skin-tones and dark hair. I guess that's too alternative for the (intended) mass-market. I want a second one of Kiki as well, but I thought it was pointless to get these are clearance prices from Wlmrt, if I was going to be paying more for four of them. It really isn't, it was a very good deal actually. I just have trouble justifying purchasing multiples of the same exact thing (except for Sasuke), just for a different dress, hair-color, or eyes. If I am still able to justify getting another Kiki, and she's still at clearance prices, I will get her. I love Akira's dress so much, so that's why I went with two of her, even if teal isn't my favorite hair color. I wish the dress had embroidered details instead of screened ones, since they took the trouble to add actual lace, but oh well. These dolls are actually quite expensive at retail, so I didn't know I was going to justify getting any. I am probably going to attempt customizing one of my Akira, since I did get two with that in mind. However, I loathe repainting mass-produced dolls with inset eyes, because it is a pain to remove them, without cutting the head sculpt, or damaging the eyes. But we'll see how it goes this time.

I recently got two Sasuke Uchiha BanDai-Namco Shanghai figures that released in 2024, if I am not mistaken. I thought I wasn't going to be able to get them, because most legit stuff released in China, is kind of exaggeratedly expensive to purchase from the USA. More so compared to similar toys you can get officially from legitimate places, straight from Japan. Regardless, I was able to get both, and I am super happy! I wish the Pajamars one was bigger, like the Ramen series version. But both are super cute. I wish I could get Itachi from both series as well, but he seems so much more overpriced than Sasuke, and he's already more expensive than the others, it seems. There are f4kes of the Pajamars one, but those come with a white base it appears, and these legit ones have a holographic sticker with a QR code you can scen for legitimacy.

I don't know why Tumblr's advanced AI thought my Square Enix FORM-ISM NieR: Replicant ver.1.22474487139… figure's photos are 1nnapropriate, but I have a slight suspicion that it is due to the white pants. The AI can't distinguish between the pale face, and the white pants, so it thinks he is p6ntless. Which is ridiculous, considering the whole figure is covered from head to toe, how would that make sense otherwise? I guess that's advanced AI for you. It has a d1rtier mind than the d1rtiest of humans....lol! >__>;;
