Some very repetitive close-ups of my repainted, heavily modified, 3D-artist resin cast Leon S. Kennedy head sculpt. Based on OR Resident Evil 4, Leon. I didn't model nor cast the head myself. I purchased the sculpt from the 3D artist a few years ago. It's been a struggle to get it to this point. It still needs a lot of work but I am happier with it, as I work on it, over the years I've owned this head. (:

Finally got myself the last two Stasto Stand Stone Giyu Tomioka Onemutan gashapon figures I was missing. The top image shows Onemutan Vol. 12 and Special Remix Vol. 4, Giyu Tomioka. I would also love Tanjiro from the latter series, but we'll see. These tiny figures are adorable, and hard to say no to, but so freaking expensive from import-resellers.

I got a few more mystery boxed Chinese designer dolls, despite saying that I want to slow down on those. It's kind of hard, saying no to most of these newer releases. I've always wanted some of the Come4free/Arts figures. The ones that came inside soda cans, the Pet Hospital series. Particularly the dude in the bear costume, but I never got one sadly. Probably no longer available for retail cost or anything similar, anywhere.

Long story longer, when I saw these Niyru Loi "The Omniflora Garden," I fell in love with Fenrir, so I got one. So freaking amazing, that I actually got him. I would have been okay with any of them, but I am glad I got Fenrir. I am waiting on two more female mystery-boxed dolls. I feel like then I might slow down. I have no clue when those will ship.

This one got here just when I was taking photos of my recently repainted Leon. So, I took comparison photos of the Ken's whose body my Leon was borrowing for the photos, next to the box. which I thought looked huge, compared to how tiny I recalled these Niryu Loi dolls being. Indeed, it was just the box is huge! Lol!

I took photos of his face without the protective plastic, because I was disappointed on how pixelated the Moowooart dolls faces were. This one's face screening/decal is so smooth, I am beyond trilled. I ams so glad I decided to get one of these dolls, and that I got Fenrir. He is stunning. Probably my favorite one so far, of these similar sized dolls. I still love the Moowooart ones, but I wish the face paint/decals were nicer. And I wish these were a bit taller to be honest. I have zero complains otherwise, I might have to take the outfit out of the bag. His cape-like piece is supposed to have a giant crystal, but I don't see one in my bag... I still got the QC card, and two character cards as well, so it might just be hidden in there somewhere. DX

I combined a few items from May and June, as well as some prize figues and then had them shipped in two separate boxes. This is one part. Some of these are prize figures that released earlier in the year, if not last year. Only the new released figures were from either May or June.

I'm done with my current 1:6 Leon S. Kennedy's repaint. It's not as clean as I would have liked. But my old-lady-hands are certainly shakier than ever before. Lol! DX

I will be trying to make him a new partial wig, like the lighter version here. I got a lot of blonde shades of doll-wig-hair specifically for my Leons' wigs (the two head sculpts that can wear a wig). So, I can try to get a closer coloring, based on OG Residen Evil 4 Leon's hair. I feel like the lighter wig is a better shape and style, than the darker brown one. Which has been his default, and I handmade the wefts on. So, it's darker bulkier than I would like. I made that for another version of him, that was a modded HT head sculpt, I was gifted. I don't recall where it is now (somewhere in my stash of floating 1:6 head sculpts!), but I was grateful I was gifted anything ever, by a stranger on the internet. Lol! Sounds weird, but I was really grateful...>__>;;

I got three Monster High Scary Sweet Birthday dolls. I wanted Cleo as well, but she wasn't in-stock on Amnz. I paid retail for Daculaura and got the other two on sale. Which I kind of regret paying full price for the former, as her box is the most damaged one despite her and Cupid being sent in an actual box. Frankie was sent in a freaking bag, but her box is in pretty decent condition, all things considered. Draculaura also has a lot of paint flaws, or loose bits of hair, black colored debris all over her face. I am not unboxing these, so it is a shame. If I find her on sale at Walmart, and I can justify driving that far away for her, I'll get a second one in better conditon.

This is my second Draculaura from G3, I used to hoard MH when they first released G1. I stopped later on, when I saw they never intended to release fashion packs (I own the single one they did release, perhaps it was two?). I didn't want a million versions of the same doll, just to get different fashions. I used to love Frankie the most, until they released Skelitas, then she became my favorite doll. This is my first Frankie and Cupid, I doubt I'll be hoarding these, but I would love a few more Draculaura from different releases that I've already missed. I hate paying retail for these, because of the quality assurance. More so when they are cheaper on Amzn, but again, the quality control is a bummer.

I modified my OG Resident Evil 4, 1:6 Leon S. Kennedy 3D artist, resin cast head sculpt. I had already modified his face throughout his time with me (2020). I did a lot of subtractive mods, but they were really minimal considering how small this head sculpt is (takin into consideration he is on the larger side of 1:6 action figure head sculps. More so Japanese character-based heads, that tend to be proportionately a lot more idealized than "average/realistic" head proportions, for any other reference material).

Long story longer, I modified his eyes once again. I had done so last year, and earlier this year once again. I feel I could have soften the mods a bit further, but I wanted to see if I was going in the right direction. I feel like I am. So, I am happy and will leave him like this for a while. There's a lot of room for improvement for sure. I am not a traditional sculptor, I did take 3D courses while getting one of my majors, but I haven't done anything with it since I graduated back in 2008. DX

Finally received my two additional Moowooart Eternal Night Scar dolls, from Amzn. Only took them an eternity to ship and deliver them. I got my favorite one. The one I was hoping I would get this time. I was so lucky I got two of him. Lol!

I am not actually upset; I am quite happy that I even got one Lorenz. I loved all the other choices in the lineup. However, I was hoping I would get one Lorenz, and I got him! I am done now, with these. I sure would have appreciated getting two different ones, but I am happier I got the one I really wanted, even if I got doubles of his. Amnz didn't pick two for me, from the same box it seems (there's only four different characters and no doubles in a box!).

One of them has misaligned eye decals, the one to our right. I love both, I feel both look slightly younger (one to our left), and slightly older. Due to the eye placement and thickness of the lower lash-line. The one on the right has irises that were placed higher on the eye base, so he looks slightly older due to that s well. Which I highly appreciate. It's too bad these dolls have one single eye base, instead of two separate eyeballs, so you can't really reposition the iris/pupil placement. However, I am happy I got two and one has a flaw, so I can have a Lorenz that probably looks a bit different than most. (:

I got a small toy haul of mostly fashion doll just a few days ago. The Barbies Style ones came from Amzn. They still haven't shipped out my other two Moowooart Eternal Night Scar dolls. I don't know when they'll do so, but they are supposedly arriving "soon." We'll see.

In the meantime, I got the special edition Rolan. Whom I've been eyeing since I saw these were coming out. I am a huge fan of vampire-esque dolls. I always wanted a vampire BJD, but I never got one. So I modded my Limhwa Limho Mano to be one, just the ears. This beautiful Rolan has painted tiny fangs. I never noticed how pixelated these dolls' face decals were. I have seen sellers with the decals and blank heads for sale. I assumed they were high-quality prints. Considering the cost of Rolan. Now, I am questioning if all these mystery boxed dolls have hyper-pixelated decals. I don't mind that my 5-10USD Barbies have pixeled faces, because they are 10USD Barbies. It bothers me a little that these mystery boxed dolls do, because most of them are getting kind of expensive. It's probably my fault, since i keep all these in-box, due to lack of display-space. I don't remove the plastics keeping their painted surfaces, to take clear photos of their faces. Now I am questioning my life decisions... lol! Oh well. I am glad I got Rolan, despite his ill-fitting hair pieces. That's another thing that bothers me -- Alastor's fit amazingly well, so it's lower hit that the more expensive Rolan's hair doesn't fit flush. I took close ups of both, to check and see that I wasn't crazy and their paint/decals are indeed pixeled as the dickens.

I completed a new set of clothes for my Myou Bettina tiny BJD male. He is a 28scm tall doll. I always feel like I have to specify, or else the AI on there gets these weird thoughts in its advanced AI brain... >___>;;; Weirdly enough, there's a lot of sh1t that gets suggested to me, I wouldn't let a grown person see, yet here we are.

Going back to the subject at hand. I completed a shirt, and a new pair of white denim jeans for my Kaneki fan art doll. I sewed it all by hand, because I struggle with the sewing machine. There's something wrong with mine, since the last time I used it (more than ten years ago!). It doesn't change stitch length anymore. I don't know if it is fixable, but I am scared because the tension also seems to not work anymore. I'm scared it'll ruin anything I'm working on. I suck at sewing, I never learned how to do it properly, when I got into BJD, I was in my early twenties. No one in my family knew how to sew. I still managed to put a few pieces together and draft a few crappy patterns. Crappy is the keyword.

My April 2026 Japanese toy haul finally got here. I'm super happy with all these toys, despite Sephiroth's plushie being exactly like a pevious version, except for the minimal details that make him a (KH) Another Form version…. DX I like the Eren plush as well, but his face is a bit depressing looking. I wish they stuck with the anime brows, instead of the brows they give him all the time on figures and plushies. Oh well. I am glad I got the latest released Sasuke Grandista, I am not sure yet i I'll get a second one, as sh1rtless Sasuke is not something I want in my displayed collection, more so pre-teen Sasuke, but we'll see.

I got these back in mid-May, due to my 45th b-day (like I need any excuse in the world to hoard toys!). They didn't ship until just a few days ago and got here yesterday from Amnz. I don't know why they are taking so long to ship things out now. It's a pain in the lower back.

I didn't get the Eternal Night Scar doll I was hoping to get, but I am crossing my fingers I can get a chance to get him in my next two pulls. If Amzn doesn't pull a fast one on me, like they seem to enjoy doing all the time. Unfortunately, it seems the one doll I would have preferred, is the one everyone and their mothers would prefer as well. So, it's probably a slim chance, despite it not being the rare one. Alastor is beautiful, he has complete heterochromia (his eyes are completely different colors, as opposed to partially one color, etc..) I like his outfit, but I don't love the shape of his coat making it look like a dress. I prefer sleeker looking coats/long-shirts. He comes with a bowler/derby hat, that I haven't seen in any of the promos, but it's pretty neat that he has that as well.

Took a few better lighted photos of my TopToy x Sure Fun Forest Kingdom Nommi doll. I also went and took close ups of her three different irises, in the second to last photo. The 1st are the default ones, where the moon appears to be a cat-shape, then the middle ones are fully dilated pupils, like a cat! The last ones are my favorite, what appear to be a starry night sky. The kitty hat does have embroidered eyes, and nose. Which are a pain to photograph, due to the fluffy faux fur. I was able to get a shot of one of the eyes, but not the other and the nose is barely visible, but it is there. I didn't feel like removing her pigtails, so I left the hat on for these.

She is obviously, very top heavy so she needs a stand for sure. I had to use her clamshell packaging to hold her up, leaning against the background. She might be able to balance on her own, but I wouldn't trust mine without a stand. I forgot to take photos of her next to my Jazzwares Hello Kitty and Kuromi fashion dolls. I feel like they might have similar proportions. Maybe their clothes would fit on Nommi. Maybe next time. I am for sure looking into getting another one. These dolls are just so beautiful. I wish they had more articulation. Particularly at the knees and elbows.

I hope these don't get sent to the dark side... Here are few photos of my unboxed Megahouse G.E.M. Series NARUTO Shippuden Palm Size (Tenohira) non-scale Sasuke Uchiha figure. He is a gorgoes figure. However, I wish his whole outfit was on him, as I have said before. This is my favorite outfit he wears in Shippuden, but it seems not that many people favor it. So, there are not that many figues of his, fully wearing it properly. He is mssing a shoe, for some reason. I love his glare, I feel that is a thousand percent "Sasuke." I don't really understand the concept of the figure otherwise. I own other Palm Size figures, of Giyu Tomioka and Shoto Todoroki. They are fully dressed, and sitting in a non-questionable-relaxed-pose. This one, I kind of don't get. He comes with a black stand/base, but I didn't use it for these.

I am glad I purchased (two) it anyway, as I am an obessive Sasuke Uchiha fangirl, and I appreciate owning a variety of figures based on him. Even ones that are exaclty the same, but with different paint apps, or even less than that. DX

I took a few photos of two of my recent Japanese toy haul figures, that I purchased doubles of, to unbox one. First, I'll share my Grandista Ken Kaneki's photos. I love Kaneki for many, many reasons. One of those is because he is such a dark character, not only in theme of the actual story of his character. More importantly (for me), he is very dark aesthetically, and I just love him to bit for it.

I was hoping they would make a Grandista version, although there didn't seem to be any reason for them to make one. They actually did! When they announced the Nendoroid, I was so excited, I thought maybe they'll actually make a Grandista. So, lo and behold, I got my wish without even having much hope of it happening, ever! Lol!

These are game (crane) prize figures, so the paint apps are not perfect. However, I love the size and the cost of these. I can also use this one as a reference, for my MYou Bettina male, that I am trying to force to be my custom Ken Kaneki doll. Despite Bettina being so off, from looking anything like Kaneki. Particularly, if I say I am trying to go for the anime proportions as my main reference. Which are not as lanky looking as this figure. Kaneki is not a tall character (5, 6" at the most), but I feel in the anime he doesn't look as short/petite as he does in the manga.

I actually feel like the Kaneki manga version looks a bit weirdly proportioned, while in the anime he looks a lot more realistic and idealized, if I think about proportions, I personally find appealing. The manga art is beautiful, but the proportions are a bit weird to me. This figure is so beautiful in my fangirl eyes, flaws and all. I would only wish that it had a second head sculpt, or an optional version without his ghoul mask on. I love Ken's face, so it's a bit sad that most of his figures only come with the mask version, and rarely without the mask. And if they do feature both, the non-masked version is always an exclusive I can't get for some reason. DX

I got a TopToy x Sure Fun Nommi doll, from the Forest Kingdom series. I got her a few months ago. Maybe a bit over a month, but it feels like forever ago. The seller was the first, if not the only one to have them on Amzn when I ordered her, so she was sent from China. She was mostly stuck in transit forever, in back there for most of the trip. It didn't take long once she was in the USA, for her to finally be delivered to me. It was a huge pain in the gut, nonetheless. I ordered her a few days or weeks before my UV lamp, and that was here so long ago, that I almost forgot that I had purchased it before Nommi, until I decided to work on my Miniver Sneakers.

I'll move on from the complaining now. I've always been tempted to get a Nommi plush, but I am trying to not hoard mystery boxed plushies as well. Since TopToy is collabing with so many anime licenses nowadays. One of those Naruto, which means more Sasuke things I need to purchase, whether I want to or not... *sigh*

When I saw these listed on Amnz I had to get one, at the very least! They are super adorable. The only complain on mine is that the part-line on the lips was painted way lower than the actual sculpted lip-partline. I am not sure if that was a factory mistake, or how all of them were painted/air-brushed/stamped. Regardless, I am super happy I got her. She's super heavy for her size, and I only wish she was bigger! Lol!

I don't know why I love these hyper-stylized chunky baby-esque dolls, but I do. My fav were the Hani Sweet Dreams series by CYToys, but these Nommi are slightly bigger and so much heavier! I feel these might win for me. I might try getting a second one, even if it means a possible double. I got the curly-tail kitty this pull, and I love her so much. Her elbows, hands and knees are blushed, which is pretty neat, as well. Her eyes move/rotate to reveal three different iris chips like the larger plushies, I don't know if the smaller ones also have that feature. I didn't want to touch her eyes with my oily-fingers (as an art nerd, I rarely if ever touch my precious plastic toys with barehands. Human oils are not archival safe. Lol!).
