Here are some photos of my Bandai Ichiban Kuji Masterlise Sasuke Uchiha prize figure. As can be seen, his left/rinnegan eye, is much lower on his face than the right eye. A royal pain in the gut hole...DX He is still a beautiful rendition of Sasuke, probably the best proportioned Sasuke figure out there, so it pains me a lot more that mine, specifically mine, had to be this flawed. It doesn’t matter from which angle you look at him from, his left eye was misprinted/mis-stamped/misplaced on the face.
He has slight shading on his beautifully sculpted hands and feet as well, but what I would consider a “poorly done job,” since I do enjoy blushing/shading toys. I don’t do an “amazing” job at it either, but this is a bit shoddy, in my humble opinion (even for a prize figure and considering what I paid for him in used condition!).
I haven’t unboxed any of my doubles I got for each Grandista version of him, but I feel this one is definitely better proportioned just by looking at photos. Not sure if this one is bigger either, but his box is certainly much taller than the Grandista boxes (I didn’t compare side to side, just by memory, which I know my sucks!). I might still try getting the regular eyes version, and maybe, if I am feeling adventurous, I might try getting a second one of this sealed in its plastic bag, instead of obviously used and dirty. As a germophobe, I had to wear gloves while handling this one, and I had to give it a bath right after these photos. He was kind of filthy as well, not sure how a figure that wasn’t released that long ago can get so grimy in such a short period. But, oh well. It wasn’t as terrible as eB4y prices, at the very least, for same level of use -- the sealed ones though, I don’t know if I could ever justify those prices. I might attempt fixing his eye, when I am done feeling bitter about the whole situation.
