So, here's some more epileptic Will headcanons:

Getting all of his scans for a diagnosis caused Will a lot of anxiety - he felt like he was back in Hawkins Lab. Joyce would always be right outside ready to give him a hug and chat about small things to keep him grounded.

After Will's diagnosis, Dustin hit the books hard and compiled a detailed list of what to do during and after a seizure. Every party member has a copy they keep on them at all times so they're always prepared to help Will.

Lucas was the first of the party (besides Mike) to really clock the warning signs of an impending seizure. He notices the little stuff: Will stiffening up and going a bit too still, his hands jerking and fidgeting, his eyes glazing over and staring off into nowhere. He never makes a big deal of it - just eases him to the ground and clears the area so he doesn't hurt himself.

When Will first started taking anticonvulsants, the side effects made him extremely sleepy. The party quickly got used to finding him dozing off in random spots, and they always made sure to lay a blanket over him or slip a pillow under his head.

On days when Will has a seizure and Jonathan's chronic back pain flares up, they'll end up side by side on the couch with heating pads and pillows, soothing their sore muscles together.

who canonically has powers? will. and who is canonically a nothingburger love interest? mike (sorry mike, i have to make a point). even if mike doesn’t want to be lois lane, giving him powers instead of will in an AU is just switching canon will and mike arcs. “will doesn’t even want his powers” and you think peter parker sent an email to the radioactive spider asking to be bitten?

both peter and will were put in situations against their consent and made the best out of their situation. that’s not mike’s arc. that’s will’s arc. mike motivated will and makes himself useful as someone who plans. much like insomniac’s MJ and zendaya’s MJ. the MJ wheeler i think a lot of people in fandom imagine is smart and a leader still even if he has to be saved occasionally. like canon mike.
