In his werewolf form he fights with brute strength, teeth and claws and wears no armor.

Erden's fighting style suits his way of thinking, the Dimachaeri style using twin blades.

He thrives on athleticism and speed that enables him to bombard rapid strikes and aerial assaults with many jumping motions compared to the other gladiators who prefer more grounded combat style.

Erden can fight well, though he is quick to use dirty tricks such as throwing sand and attacking with hidden weapons.

He has an unwavering love for conflict and the roar of the crowd. He is an adrenaline addict, often smiling while in battle, and whenever a situation gets tense, a smirk draws on his smug face.

Though he could take down opponents with swift efficiency, he demonstrates showmanship by pacing his fights with variety of attacks.

However, Erden's morbid pursuit of thrill by facing death as closely as possible often puts him in dangerous combat situations.

He once willingly fought in a match without weapons and another time with a blindfold, and would often challenge enemies that are physically bigger and stronger than him.

Which resulted in him getting badly wounded and he was sent to a healer.

Lucio goes to check on him and Erden decided so used this opportunity to make a deal with Lucio, to do his bidding.

After convincing Lucio to hire him, he started working for Lucio as a right hand man.

Erden is also good with numbers, as he frequently helps Lucio keep track of his finances, business transactions, and gambling wagers.
