Though this may be true, Nora said that Jean died in every other draft even including the one where Neil was a Raven. Also maybe the best would have shifted Neil’s personality, maybe Nathaniel would have been too caught up with Exy like Kevin to even notice some of the stuff that was going on. Plus, there are many reasons Jean would want to die that are completely out of Neil’s control.

I do really hope they could have gone off and been pro partners but I’m just going off of what Nora told us how Jean died in every other draft but this one.

@real-fragments I hope Jean would still be alive but I like to make characters suffer so this was the first idea that came to mind. Oops. 🥲

What does everyone else think? I just think that Alternative universes are completely in our own control because they’re our own versions of our stories!
