Jeremy is so hot that the delivery driver gives the tip back on nights they order takeout/pizza

Jean Moreau sleeps curled safely in the fetal position. He has his whole body in a tight ball. Everything important curling in on itself, everything safe. The first time Jean and Jeremy share a bed, Jean holds Jeremy in his curl. Jean has his head against Jeremy and he pulls Jeremy close to him. They sleep curled in together, everything that’s most important safe.

Sometimes I think about the possibility of Jean completely panicking in tbc if Jeremy gets hurt. The wide eyes, the shaking hands gripping Jeremy, the uneven breathing, the desperate "not you, please not you, only me, only me" because when it comes to pain and death, Jean thinks it should always be him.

one scene that always gets me is in the sunshine court when jeremy is sitting next to jean on his bed after their day on the beach and finding out about the ravens. jeremy knowing jean shouldn’t be alone and they’re sitting there next to each other and jean thinks that the warmth of jeremy’s body thawed the parts of him the sun couldn’t reach. jean being distracted by sounds from the kitchen but before he can move jeremy says, stay with me. and jean stays, because with jeremy beside him it’s the first time his room has ever felt truly safe and right, and jean is content to hold onto that feeling for as long as he can.
