"are you okay" no I was thinking about how diligently martin walls and the walten files team worked to unapologetically show the most ugly ways grief can destroy a person, in fact they didn't even shy away showing behaviors that are evident of the era they were living in which were equally uncomfortable to witness but realistic all the same, like oh my bad, I forgot this is an ANIMATED series about a FICTIONAL family going through the worst traumas imaginable because my real life actually feelings are just that heavy about it. what the fuck man

also while I sympathize with the frustration over the years of the team delaying the release and etc. etc., honestly? you will never hear me complain again because if this is the kind of production quality and care for the story and characters we're going to continue receiving, it is worth every single day, hour, second that it takes for them to make it happen. If they continue at the rate they've been going I'm going to be 40 by the time this series ends and no, it's not ideal but god it's gonna be so worth it man. it's gonna be soooooo worth it
