I know I said that angels can't be trans, and I do stand by that, but that is only in the most traditional sense. They do not have genders to transition from, but nobody said anything about not being able to change their pronouns or modifying their bodies to their liking.
I saw a Power drawing a few months ago. It was one that started going by she/her because "Gabriel is rebelling against Heaven, so I should too." And while I do think the idea is cool, most trans people don't transition because they want to upset other people. They do it out of genuine self discovery. And so I wanted to make one that separated from Heaven and the culture of Heaven, pursued their own identity independently of anyone else, and came out on the other side as close to trans as an angel can get.

Olive was originally named Avil.
Avil was a kind and soft soul, like that of a bird, hence the name he was given, and he was very proud to be given such a title. But, after being put out of commission during the Greed Insurrection, he was forced to retire from being part of Gabriel's army. He roamed across Heaven freely for a short period, but the lack of purpose made him rather depressed. Gabriel, noticing this, recommended him as an assistant to the Council in hopes that it may give him something to do.
This led to him witnessing Gabriel's light being ripped, and later the Council dying. Avil was one of the few who actually understood Gabriel's message, and decided to leave Heaven in pursuit of his own will as well. From this sprung his own journey of self discovery, where he pursued his own identity separate from what he used to be.
Athena gifted Athens an olive tree. The God of Wisdom made the olive in Greek mythology. More realistically, Noah's dove brought back an olive branch. It was a sign of peace, a sign of new beginnings. The Earth had been reborn, and it was shown by an Olive. And so she chose the name Olive.
Now Olive wanders Hell, enjoying the sights and basking in newfound purpose, without anyone to serve or any standards to uphold. While her loyalty is still to Gabriel, she believes him to be dead.
- The cape she adorns is also her wing. She shed the bird identity when she shed Avil, choosing to have a capelike wing instead of a bird one.
- The bird name also has another meaning. My friend and I discussed this thing in the trans community where someone who has not yet discovered they are trans is still "in their egg." I thought it would be fitting to reference that by her original name meaning bird.
- She took on a lot of hobbies during her Heaven roaming period, including shepherding, training Virtues, gardening, and many more. Some of these hobbies she still upkept when she became a clerksman.
- Her gold is a soft, rosey hue to reflect her very soft personality.
This character is still a very rough concept. Everything is subject to change.
