Lillith made her way down to the morgue. Her shoes clicked against the solid flooring. She was clutching a bag, inside was an Ultra Blue Hawaiian monster and some sugar cookies she baked.
"Mom?- I mean- Thana..?"
[mother daughter Lillith and Thana maybe ππππππ]
Thana poked her head out of the door
"hey! What's up?"
She asked, looking at the cookies and monster in her DAUGHTER'S friend's hands. She smiled a little. "You didn't have to bring that stuff for me...."
Lillith nodded, shifting her weight on her feet. She looked around, not looking Thana in the eyes, she was still nervous that Thana might change her mind about liking it.
"I'm g-glad you like it..!"
Lillith looked at the cookies. She wanted Thana to try it but she didn't wanna say it.
Lillith's cheeks flushed(completely platonic, she isnt used to being complimented), she played with her hands, looking down again. She looked up at Thana but only at her hands and arms.
"of course! I don't know what you put in these but they are fantastic! You gotta give yourself some credit, kiddo."
She answered through bites. She noticed the eye contact, but thought nothing of it as someone who is used to staring at the noses of all but the people she trusted the most.
Lillith stepped closer to Thana, looking at her feet. She smiled a bit more and her cheeks gained a bit more color. She stopped looking so nervous and she looked content.

Lillith walked into the Medbay, looking around for the doctor. When she found them, she walked over to them. She smiled, fixing her glasses.
"I'm ready..!"
They were at the very entrance of the medical department, awaiting her. They smiled right back.
"Hello! It's very nice to meet you in person."
They extended a pale hand to shake hers.
"Follow me to the lab, I've got everything ready."
They turned around and led her down the sterile white hallway to one of the rooms. As they walked, a faint sound of screaming could be heard from somewhere deeper in. Kind of expected, considering it was the Foundation's grounds.
They didn't comment on the screaming either. Just another day.
They led Lillith into an empty lab. Nothing too exciting in there, unless one is ecstatic at the sight of the usual medical equipment.
"You can sit down and I'll prepare the needle. Are you scared of needles?"
They glanced at her as they unpacked a new needle.
They smiled to themselves. She didn't sound convincing.
"Don't worry, it will be a small sting and then it's over."
The doctor sat next to her. They gently touched the insides of both her elbows, searching for a good spot to draw blood.
"Alright, are we feeling ready? If it hurts too much, you can squeeze me. Just try not to squirm away, okay?"
Their tone was pretty calm and reassuring.
"It's okay."
They almost whispered as they leaned in, their white hair sliding forwards through their shoulder. They made sure to be gentle, yet quick, as they punctured the skin on the inner side of her elbow.
They took a quick look at her. Oh no, please don't pass out, they thought.
"It's gonna be alright. Breathe deeply, alright?"
They spoke quietly, trying their best to soothe her nerves. The syringe slowly filled.
You could say it's pretty lucky that blood typing is something you only need to do once in your life. Otherwise, we would have a casualty.
They turned back to Lillith to check if she's still alive and not slumped dead in the chair.
"You made it!"
They tried to comfort her at least a bit. Meanwhile, they taped the gauze to her skin.
"There you go. I can get you a brave patient sticker if you'd like?"
They smiled and reached to one of the drawers. They knew that these stickers would come in handy, even at a place like this.
They handed her a sticker...
Cute.
"Looking good! Feel free to sit for as long as you feel you need to. We don't have to rush anything, and I wouldn't want you passing out in here."
They sat on a tall stool, maybe 2 meters away from her.
"The results will be here tomorrow. Do you need them for any specific reason, or is it just curiosity about your blood type?"
They nodded. They didn't say anything for a moment, their gaze focused on the labeled sample that they just took.
"I'm sorry, are you perhaps the same Lillith that Bernadette has been mentioning? Or is it just a coincidence?"
"I'm happy to hear that. Been a while since I sent her some sweets..."
They jumped off the stool.
"Well, on that topic... Would you like a cranberry cookie?"
"I promise it's not laced or anything." They chuckled. "I'm just into baking."
The doctor reached into another drawer and got a plastic containter out of. They took out one of the big cranberry cookies and handed it to Lillith.
"I hope it helps you regain your energy too. You can stand up whenever you feel you're ready to."
They nodded.
"It can happen sometimes, don't worry. It goes away after a moment. Just keep resting and breathing deeply. The cookie should help too to rise your sugar level."
They sat on the stool once more and spun on it slowly.
"I hope you like the cookie?"
They immediately stopped spinning and got off the stool.
"Are you sure? Are you feeling any better? I assure that there's no need to rush, especially if you're still feeling weakened."
They looked her up and down.
"Alright, I will believe you."
They quickly grabbed the container again and handed Lillith another cookie.
"Here. One more for later. I'll let you know about the results tomorrow! Make sure to get some rest today, okay?"
