Why is Thirteen getting shit in regards to wiping memories when Eleven can get away with brainwashing the entire human race to be genocidal murderers?
This man here is a murderer because of the Doctor.
Because he was alive when they did the Moon landings, he would’ve watched that live as a little nine-year-old boy. Excited to see humanity make that first step only to get a brainwashed to commit murder.
The Doctor made him a child soldier in a war he didn’t even know he was fighting in.
Graham has killed Silence over his entire life.
Why is Thirteen getting dragged for wiping memories when Eleven’s little genocidal tendencies get overlooked?
I love all Doctors, Eleven included, but people forget too easily what he did
I think one of the reasons why the Doctor can be more genuine with Tesla, without really giving anything away, is because they’re kindred spirits in terms of being engineers and geniuses, feeling out of place not only in the universe but from some of the stories, in Gallifrey. It’s why the Doctor latched on to the Master when they were younger.
But also, in a lot of ways, it’s easier for the Doctor to share a little of herself with a stranger because there won’t be any probing and questions later. She can just be in the moment.
Ada and Noor Vs Tesla and Edison and why it’s completely different between them...
I’ve seen too many posts where people are saying “But why didn’t Thirteen remove Tesla and Edison’s memories when she removed Ada’s and Noor’s?” and the answer to that is actually pretty simple if you look at the show as a *whole* instead of focusing on the details between them.
I’ll start with Van Gogh, and you might be wondering why I’m started with him when he hasn’t got anything to do with Ada, Noor, Tesla, or Edison and it’s simply because Eleven took him to the future to see his life works in the Paris Louvre.
Van Gogh:
Eleven and Amy took Vincent to the future, but the difference between Vincent and Ada is that Vincent is a painter, a fantastic and brilliant painter, but still a painter. He wasn’t the mother of computers. He was just a fantastic painter.
And they spent a while there, and Vincent saw his works being loved by people of all ages, he heard Doctor Black talk about him, cried, that was it because Eleven knew that showing Vincent the future wasn’t going to change the future. He knew that Vincent still travelled his path, ridiculed by his neighbours, and how that ended in his death. Eleven did change the future a very minor bit, or more precisely, Amy did because one of Vincent’s paintings did say “For Amy.” on it, but that’s minor. It’ll make Art Experts wonder just who this ‘Amy’ was, but it won’t personally change the future like Ada would’ve.
Noor Inayat Khan:
I’m just going to paste from her Wikipedia here:
Inayat Khan was classified as “highly dangerous” and shackled in chains most of the time. As the prison director testified after the war, Inayat Khan remained uncooperative and continued to refuse to give any information on her work or her fellow operatives, although in her despair at the appalling nature of her confinement, other prisoners could hear her crying at night. However, by the ingenious method of scratching messages on the base of her mess cup, she was able to inform another inmate of her identity, giving the name of Nora Baker and the London address of her mother’s house.
In 1958 an anonymous Dutch prisoner asserted that Inayat Khan was cruelly beaten by an SS officer named Wilhelm Ruppert before being shot from behind. Her last word was reported as “Liberté”. She was survived by her mother and three siblings.
She was removed from a very delicate time period that couldn’t afford things to change. Plus, her last words before she was brutally murdered by the Nazi’s was inspired and herself. They did film her death scene, but thankfully, it was removed from the final cut because it was horrendous. We don’t need to see her murder and how she looked after torture at the hands of the Nazi’s.
But the show did one thing, and that was make a new generation of people remember her and what she did for us and for our way of life, so thank Noor Inayat Khan, thank you.
Elvis:
I’m only bringing Elvis up because some people thought to bring up the fact that he had a mobile phone. What the fuck was he going to do with a mobile phone? Literally, nothing, moving on.
Ada Lovelace, Tesla, and Edison as a whole because they were all inventors:
Okay, Ada and why she differs from Tesla and Edison in bullet points because it’s concise then:
Ada went to the future.
Tesla and Edison did not.
They all travelled in the TARDIS, but so did Cleopatra, and countless other historical figures throughout time.
Tesla and Edison dealt with Aliens that invaded in 1903.
Ada dealt with Aliens who invaded throughout time.
Tesla was already branded crazy by the masses, so him saying he saw Aliens wouldn’t have mattered at all.
Edison also wasn’t going to brand himself as crazy by revealing that he saw and helped stop the Aliens.
Ada would’ve used what she saw in the future as a means to get started. This would’ve basically said, “Ada did what she did because the Doctor took her to the future, not because she was a fantastic and brilliant human being who we owe a lot to in this day and age.” Yeah, that message wouldn’t have gone down well, would it?
Tesla and Edison only saw what they either invented in their workshops and the TARDIS.
Tesla wasn’t taken to the future to be shown how his ideas between an integral part of our world like Van Gogh was with his paintings. He was left with a conversation, that was it. He still died poor.
Tesla and Edison are no different from Charles Dickens in S1 because it all took part in the time period they were from.
Some of these takes can simply be solved if you take a step back and look at the entire thing as a whole rather than a few seconds. I get and I understand how unfair it was to Ada and Noor to have their memories wiped, but Ada would’ve used what she saw in the future and Noor is in a delicate position in time.
And if they made it so what Ada learnt in the future as an inspiration to do what she did, then I’d be pissed off at Doctor Who. So this outcome is one I’m happy with because Ada is still an amazing woman who did what she did.
Thank you very much for saying this

hi, could you analyze dance line's styles using astrology?
i’m no dance expert but i’ve so noticed different styles between the boys and i think their charts reflects these nuances really well. to see matters of dance, let’s look to the 5th house
Hoseok
first, our dance king. hoseok has the kind of dance that makes you sweat just from watching it. what characterizes his style most is one word: power. the sheer energy and effort he puts into each movement? incredible. i think that comes from his leo on the 5th house cusp. not only is he a born performer, he’s one that owns the stage and demands attention. leo is quite a showy sign which explains his big, grand movements and heart stopping stunts. although he has no planets in the 5th, his virgo chiron lies there. this creates an almost obsession with dance, a perfectionist to the core. he’s very hard on himself (when he was no reason to be as he’s already perfect) but this also contributes to even more amazing performances
Jimin
his strong modern dance background stands out no matter the choreography. jimin has a 5th house stellium so it’s no wonder that he excels at it. out of all the boys, he focuses on artistry the most. and if you look, he has venus in the 5th. venus is the planet of refined art and love. he exudes sensuality from that scorpio influence. scorpio is a water sign and his fluidity and flowy movements definitely reflect that. his mars and pluto in the 5th brings tremendous intensity and focus to his dance. he’s a tireless worker, will take hours analyzing every little detail and won’t settle for anything less than perfect.
Jungkook
although all of them are extremely talented and capable of many different styles, jungkook takes the cake in terms of versatility. he can do it all: from softer, flowy movements to powerful pop-lock techniques and even b-boying. we have his jupiter in the 5th to thank for this. jupiter brings luck wherever it goes, and in the 5th house it blesses him with incredible talent in all things creative. jupiter also “expands” his 5th houses’ horizons, which explains his wide range of dancing techniques and abilities. jupiter also represents education and travel: jungkook went abroad to learn dance
Sorry I have just one dance king and it's Jimin. Tbh I'm tired of people saying JH is better: Jimin has more all around technique, more versatility and he's the best at conveying emotions

if this can no longer resonate, no longer make my heart vibrate
then like this may be how I die my first death but what if that moment’s right now.
