Loss of a Simblr
Hey everyone, I know I’m not super active on Tumblr anymore but I felt it was important to come on and let everyone know some extremely sad news. It’s with a heavy heart that @engramplays and I have learned of @phoenixfg‘s passing.
On December 9th she updated us on twitter she was back in the hospital, and a few days later she passed. We didn’t learn of this news until today, and I’m not going to lie the news hit me like a truck. It took me all day to be able to make this post.
We’re going to be preparing a fundraiser for her family over the next week or two, but in the meantime, I’d appreciate if people shared this post to get the news out. She touched so many people’s hearts and was such a positive force in any gaming community she was a part of, not the least of which was The Sims community.
I would love to encourage anyone who feels up to it to share a story of their own about her.
I’m going to miss her dearly.

She was one of the sweetest and kindest souls I ever had the privilege of knowing! We met online, over a decade ago, when we were both doing TS2 stuff. Supportive, kind, and so impressively strong... I remember being baffled when she was diagnosed and was continually just in awe at her perseverance. She never seemed to let anything get her down.
My deepest condolences to her family, who she valued above all else. I hope her amazing soul is at peace.
