When this had first started all those months ago, Nace had thought there was no way it’d still be going by now. The combination of him replacing Martin, the Demoni tour, and the Eurovision preparations had been a unique kind of pressure cooker, and he’d been sure that whatever this was would fizzle out by the time they got to actual work in Liverpool.
And yet, here in this moment, he can almost believe it’ll go on forever.
It doesn’t, of course. No sooner does the thought occur to him than his alarm goes off, and he has to disentangle himself to switch it off, despite Jan’s groan of protest and attempt to hook his leg over Nace’s backwards to anchor him in place.
“We’ve got to be at the meeting place in an hour,” he says apologetically. “Come on, we should get ready.”
“An hour?” Jan rolls onto his back so he can face Nace. It’s dangerous, the way he’s looking at him, with his dark hair spilling over the pillow and his warm body barely hidden by the covers. “That’s loads of time. Come back here.”
“We should get ready,” Nace repeats, but he can already feel his resolve wavering. He suspects Jan can feel it too, judging by the slow smile spreading over his mouth and how he doesn’t even hold a hand out to Nace, just grabs his immediately.
“What’s that, like... ten minutes to shower, ten minutes to dress? Less, if we shower together. We’re only meeting downstairs anyway. They’ll want to style us all over again when we get there.”
“We’re going to be late,” Nace warns, even as he crawls back onto the bed and on top of Jan, who immediately pulls him closer.
“Nobody’s paying us any attention,” Jan counters, “Not when they’re too busy watching Bojan and Käärijä.”
He knows he should put up more of a fight than this. He should pull back and go straight to the shower. He should be responsible. Professional.
Then again, if that was his plan, he probably shouldn’t have fucked his bandmate in the first place, but with the way Jan is arching up towards him, dick already hardening, he realises that he can’t care in this moment. It’s far easier to give in and lose himself in Jan all over again.
Surely this can’t go on past their return to Slovenia next week. Surely the world will right itself and order will be restored. But he’s going to enjoy this while he has it.
