You said that Bolt wanted us to stop drawing their OC, should we delete any drawings we made of CloverKit?

Hmmmm, good point there. I don’t recall Bolt ever saying she wanted people to delete any pics (if has has/does someone please tell me). So I would just stop posting/rebloging them. Maybe even removing all the ck related tags from them

If anyone else thinks it would be best to go about this anyway else, I’m open for suggestions

Hey, would it be okay to suggest making your own OC for this blog? Since some people want to just keep using Cloverkit anyway, making a new mascot for this could help when it comes to quenching the flames! You could even name it Paintedpaw/kit uwu

Bolt deactivated her account. She was to overwhelmed. A project meant to make her happy, scared her and she left. She also made a journal entry, asking people to stop drawing him. You do not have the artists permission to draw her ocs anymore

Hey can you guys please make some sort of official post explaining that people should stop making fanart of Cloverkit since the original artist is terribly upset? Seriously, their DA is being bombarded and the poor person looks upset. I think an apology or at least some sort of post trying to stem the flow of unwanted art could be nice. ;_;

Hey, not trying to be rude or anything but I don't think you have the right to make Cloverkit your mascot? Theyre not even your OC, and lots of people seem to be forgetting that. Cloverkit isn't a mascot for young artist's improvement, he is an actual OC that has an actual creator/owner. I would suggest changing this to "Team Badgerfang" especially since Cloverkits owner has requested that no more fanart be drawn of him. Sorry if this comes off as rude or anything, just trying to help this blog

Nah you don’t seem rude its fine! I’m actually in the process right now of making this blog ‘un-cloverkit-ed’. That will mean a new url, icon, and i will not reblog any new cloverkit content. This blog will be focusing more on helping artists in general. :)

this is such a wonderful project/team/etc! its such a great idea and im so grateful something like this is going on! when i was first starting out, there was nothing like this to support artists, and it's great to see all the support that young artists are getting! ill try to contribute some art for cloverkit soon!

As of late, a lot of people have been sharing kind words with the young artists of the fandom, and those who are not within our community. We all know it has been a problem within all ranges of communities, and I’m very happy the love has reached ours especially after the adult / preteen battle of last year.

As my addition to Project Cloverkit/Badgerfang, have a glimpse of my improvement over the years. B )

Don’t let others discourage you just because you aren’t “as good” as them. Skill and patience go hand in hand, so be willing to devote your time to get where you want to be. All of us can say that our skill in illustration and animation did not happen over night. Although it would be easier for it to be that way, it simply cannot be. But do not fret, because our community has open arms and will help you along the way. ♡
